I went to Dylan Star today for a fitting. Jessica, the lady doing the fitting was very nice and knowledgeable. The store itself was gross. The store fitting area and rooms were filthy! Fitting room curtains are stained, mirrors are streaked, and the black carpets were gross! They look like they've not been vacuumed in months. Just gross and dirty!

Well, it's a mall but it's really nicely done, the architecture is very Santa barbarian (stucco walls, red tile roofs) and quite aesthetically pleasing. It opens out to State Street so it's a great place to bring your out of town guests to spend their money. And there's plenty of good stores and restaurants to do so. It's a bit touristy, but we're a tourist town so it fits!

Beautiful walk in the evening, especially after getting gelato at Tondi. Gorgeous window shopping. Love the local boutiques nestled within.

Well organized place. The signs are clear enough that we can find the stores we want to see. Parking lots are fine. It charged but cheap. Suggest staying here for 2-3 hours because the State Street near by is so cozy. There are many restaurants you can try.

Beautifully designed with great architecture that makes you feel like you're strolling around a European market. Loads of shops (both high end and regular) and a good amount of parking (both street and otherwise) is available.Types of shops include apparel (10 ish) health and beauty (6), food (10+), home and gifts (5) etc.

RIP Nordstrom Santa Barbara. This store should’ve closed over a decade ago. The customer service this company’s reputation was built on never existed at this location after 2009.

Was very impressed with the service in the men’s shoe department while staying in Santa Barbara. The salesman Damon was most helpful and attentive to my needs. I have been hunting for a good pair of shoes to help ease the pain I was having from the previous pair. Thanks to Damon and his recommendation I now have happy feet.

As a former Nordstrom employee and someone who shops with them daily, I found this store to be disappointing. I love visiting other locations to see what they offer but the selection here is extremely minimal. I was never greeted or helped on the sales floor. I did not find many employees on the floor at all when I visited unless they were already helping someone at the register. The selection of items offered was minimal. I love Paige denim but there seemed to be only a few being sold. I was disappointed because I love Nordstrom. I did not stay here very long but I did end up purchasing a few things. I was also disappointed that while I was waiting at the register, a woman showed up and was just hovering next to the register. The girl never addressed her and I expected her to because I think she was expecting to be helped before me. NO, wait in line like everyone else, even if you have a return. It was disappointing that the girl that rang me up made direct eye contact and did not address the woman that was hovering. I'll probably be back here because there really is no other big retail store in Santa Barbara.

Since living in Santa Barbara for about 4 years, Nordstrom has always been my go to when it comes to shopping. Each time I go in there is always great customer service which involves very eager and happy employees to help you find whatever it is you're looking for. This afternoon I experienced help from an enthusiastic, helpful, and kind hearted sales associate, named Vanessa. Vanessa, whom is also the Dior counter manager, saw that I was looking for some things over in the perfume & reduced post Christmas gift section. Immediately, Vanessa greeted me and asked if I needed help, which it turns out I did! I told her I needed help finding a gift and just like that, Vanessa took control and gave me full explanations of potential products I could give to the friend I was needing a gift for. Vanessa helped me find the two great gifts quick and efficiently, as well as taking the time to gift wrap each of them beautifully. Employees like Vanessa are the reasons why Nordstrom thrives and sustains the amazing reputation this department store has had for years. Vanessa's work ethnic, energy, and heart outshined during our interaction today and she deserves recognition. I will be keeping in touch with her and going to her each time I need something in Nordstrom and I left today with the biggest smile on my face! Thank you Vanessa!
