For my slightly chaotic looking cottage garden I found some great plants over the last year: geranium rozanne, Geum, various penstemons, smaller sized salvias blended with euphorbia with dainty white flowers, just to name a few. And I’ve learned to give all my plants time to settle in for them to develop healthy roots in the first couple of season(s) and not blame the nursery if a plant looks dead. lol”
