My mom and I had a wonderful experience here. They are sanitary, have beautiful colors including Zoya polishes (I had 'hunter' green) and take great care with your nails. We hope to be back again!

I have been coming here for a couple years. Marina is amazing! She has helped my nails so much. They are stronger and healthier. The service is very friendly and they add a personal touch. I highly recommend.

Such a sweet salon experience! It's a tiny salon with just a couple chairs, so make sure to make an appointment ahead of time. It feels very cozy! The nail artists are SO attentive, meticulous, and take great care and time with the client! It always feels very luxurious and is a nice pampering experience. Truly worth checking out among SB's many nail salons! You won't be disappointed!

I enjoyed this pedi very much! Ticca did a great job with my toes and made sure I was comfortable. The facility is cozy and super cute. The chairs were comfortable and they were ready for me when I arrived. Ticca gave a fantastic foot massage! I do wish you he whole process was a little longer, but for a basic pedi, I am more than happy! Will be making my appointment for next time I am in the area here!

THE BEST OF THE BEST! That's as simple as it gets! I live in Chicago and come to Santa Barbara for the winter months (Jan-May). I promise that you will NEVER have a better Manicure or pedicure. I was there today, Feb 4th and they take the Covid Virus very seriously and make sure that every precaution and cleanliness standard has been met. Actually, it's always been that way, even before Covid 19. Do yourself a favor and try them. You will thank me! :-) And I feel confident in saying that you will never go anywhere else. Oh, and when I go back to Chicago I simply wait another 7 months to get a man/ped when I'm back in Santa Barbara! :-). And that's the truth! Rebecca Miller A very happy customer!

So satisfied with One Carat. First of all, they are the most COVID safe, clean and thought out nail salon I've been too since Corona started in March. The nail techs took their time and made sure they did a really great job, I hate when I feel like my nail techs are rushing through my appointment but I didn't feel that way at all when I was here, they went slow and ensured they did a great job. The atmosphere is so relaxing I almost fell asleep! they have relaxing music, and the place has very cute design with great lighting. Will definitely be coming back here anytime I'm in town.

I went for the 1st time as a treat for my wedding anniversary and wanted something intimate, I've walked past many times and thought to give it a try. I arrived a 15 mins early so I won't feel rushed and my nail tech arrived a little after my scheduled appointment time. I wanted to do the Diamond service with gel on mani/pedi, but I was advised by another nail tech that the gel wouldn't last because of the oils in paraffin. I took her advice and decided with the Yum Yum with gel. I put my audio book on to tune out the lady next to me who's name was actually Karen, because she was talking on speaker really loud with her racist friend about politics. (I was really alarmed that Karen would be so rude when her nail tech which looked to be of Hispanic origin would allow her friend to just be so loose with her tongue on speaker phone about her rude opinions about other nationalities. She was literally a "Karen".) Nonetheless, I screenshot a few nail inspirations to share with whoever my nail tech would be and unfortunately during the whole 3.5 hours of this service, I received a basic 1 color gel mani/pedi on Wednesday for it to chip days later. And I didn't want to write this, but my husband insisted. I wanted a longer leg massage, but I wasn't expecting to be there as long as I had so I opted to not get that service. And with all the detail, hard work, and focus my nail tech had, I still came out with a nail without a topcoat and my cuticles bleeding. I noticed it before I walked out the door, but I didn't want to fuss I was ready to get out because I was already behind schedule. I get mani/pedis with gel all the time for their quickness, but that wasn't the case this time around. I'm grateful that I had my audio book because I finished half of it and it was 7 hours. I've been getting beauty services all week and ordering food like crazy to keep myself from being rough with my hands too. So I am disappointed from this experience especially since I gave $150. On to the next salon!

Ticca and her staff and THE BEST in Santa Barbara for nail care. I've been seeing Ticca for a few years now and there is NO ONE else I've been to that has ever given me the experience I have had at her shop.The chairs are comfy furniture-type chairs, not the typical vibrating/massaging chairs, and the foot basins are lined portable tubs. They take their time with their manicures and pedicures, carefully using their tools with skill. I always feel relaxed and cared for when I'm there.Prior to coming to Ticca I had acrylic nails. It took me a while to get my nails back to health but she really helped me. She suggested specific products, I used them and my nails are finally back to their strong pre-acrylic selves!! She knows what my nails need and I listen to her.She is also a great nail artist. I have given her some challenges to put onto my nails and she has gotten it done. The staff is high quality, kind and skilled.Personalized nail care, relaxing atmosphere and quality service is what you will get at One Carat. It's more of a nail spa to me, really!

I have been going to One Carat Mani & Pedi for the past five years and they never disappoint! The staff is great, the environment is super clean and their work is consistently meticulous. I've been to nail salons all over SB and they are by far the best!

You know the saying, you get what you paid for - this doesn't apply. For my mani and pedi (with tip) was over $100 - I was expecting results to last more than a few days. I'll get there - I promise. I showed up a little early for my appointment - everyone was nice. I was offered water while I wait. I mind my own business and listen to the ladies chatter about clients, random topics. You can tell that whoever is in the lazyboy are regulars and happy. I'm like - if they can have people coming back, then it's gotta be good right? My turn. The service is attentive. The work is pretty good - the result was NOT what I wanted but whatever - they took longer than the hour I was expecting. I got gel polish - THICK as can be. Maybe it's something to do with their formula. I guess I can live with it...it feels like way too many coats (and the color I picked wasn't even sheer). I leave - I get home and I notice that they didn't color close to my nail bed. I already look like I'm overdue for a polish change. My toes, they are so off the edge - like wtf - you missed 20% of the edge of my nail. By day 3, I notice something more annoying, my gel nails are lifting. The edges are coming undone. I've had gel before and that doesn't happen, usually, i need to file them and soak them to get it off. By day 5, all 10 of my nails had lifted and any remnants of polish long gone. LIVID! I'm on vacation and this was supposed to have lasted for at least a week. Maybe I have faulty nails. I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I ended up going somewhere else to get my nails done during my vacation. 1 - I've now had this for 3 weeks (nothing has lifted / chipped) 2 - I can wait another week to get the polish redone (b/c my nails don't grow that fast) 3 - It doesn't have to be molasses thick. My painted nails look natural. Super disappointed in this place. How do you expect repeat customers if your service is so shoddy?

Had the best experience at this salon. Went there today for my birthday and i made my husband get his first pedicure ever! We both loved everything about this salon. I would 100% recommend them and will be going back again!
