I have had all my and our family's Rx's filled at Ralph's for many years. The pharmacists and staff always go the extra mile, answering questions, searching for discounts and the lowest price, orders are filled promptly, they are all friendly and knowledgeable. I can go on, but I will just add that I have witnessed some of the staff calling MD's on behalf of customers who do speak English and advocating on their behalf.

Always opening late. Correction, Whenever I have been there at 9:00, they aren't ready to help, no one is actually there. Then they have to open. Then they help you. Including phone calls. But they wouldn't know that because they aren't there.

As a consistant, pleasant, and helpful staff the Ralph's pharmacy pesonnel are very much superior. And also very human. When I read the negative reviews I want to tell others that, yes, they are human. None of us are top notch every single day and every single minute so let's get real. I find that they bend over backwards to help in about every situation where I've expressed a need. I'd give a couple extra stars if I could. I want to mention a few helpers who have gone above and beyond: Lisa, Tiffany, Amit, and Anderson. I know there are more...

I was traveling. My prescriptions were lost or stolen in the previous hotel. The lady pharmacist working 22 April 2023 at 10:30 a.m. was very helpful assisting the effort to get them replaced. Thanks!

The absolute worst pharmacy in town!! They are argumentative rude and always late with their prescriptions. Definitely not recommend.

Updating a review written long ago, had a good experience the other day when the pharmacy staff found a price better than good RX - thanks to the staff. You are appreciated.

I don't always go to Ralph's Pharmacy, but when I do, I go to Ralph's Pharmacy. Most of the time I can find parking. If I can't, there's always living life in the edge by parking in the handicap spot. I wish they weren't so strict on their prescription policy though. Sure mine was written in crayon, but I don't see color. That's why they loose a star. I know one day that I will find that star and marry it in a Ralph's. That's my review. I'm lonely.

This store has never had a valid elevator permit and the elevators are dangerous. They are poorly maintained and a direct reflection on the store's management. Kroger stores do not accept Apple Pay. I left my groceries at the self check out and the check sarcastically told me to "Have a nice Day!"

Rx is never ready (per their scheduled pick up time via voice message), and I always have to wait which is inconvenient for me since I usually have a ride or must sit and wait since I cannot stand for long periods. I suggest calling and making sure that all medications are ready for pick up which will save them and you much frustration! I switched to this pharmacy because of the convenience of picking them up while shopping at Ralph's.

Too many technological barriers to true, human to human, customer service (i.e. voicemail, website, etc.)

Sadly, Ralphs pharmacy at the Carillo location has gone way too far downhill. It's filthy, dirty, and the whole store smells like urine. The pharmacy staff are completely apathetically rude and incapable employees that are clearly there for a paycheck or benefits, but not because they are especially proficient or capable of working with the public. "I don't know" should be their motto. They lose prescriptions constantly and blame the doctor's office. They had us running back and forth all day long from morning until just before closing, and eventually said "oops" the problem was that the prescription was misfiled in the pharmacy. From the parking lot, on through the store, and carried out to the pharmacy, it's a skeevy, unfriendly, grossly lacking in customer service environment. Long gone is the neighborhood pharmacy feel that was once there. The BEST pharmacy in town is hands-down SANSUM pharmacy. So, if you have a choice, steer clear of Ralph's Pharmacy on Carillo and head on over to Sansum. Oh, and if you shop in the store, check your receipt, On several occasions, I was overcharged by anywhere from $5-$17 on a single visit. In one month alone, I was overcharged 5 times! The upper-level parking lot at night is downright scary. To me, this store has become a blight on our city.

tldr; delayed medication order, communication troubles, and cold pharmacist. Please don't go here, the pharmacist really doesn't treat you right. Behavior is one -subjectively small- thing, but combined with inexplicable delays and miscommunications; you can do better. If you're looking around for a pharmacy, check out sites like goodrx or rxinform to help compare pharmacies and avoid this one.my experience: I was informed when my medication would arrive, but it was not there when I came to pick it up. I was told that they never received it and no further information on why, which - giving them the benefit of the doubt - I can see how shipping delays are common right now. Though it seems so dangerous that people can't reliably get their medication; esp due to inexplicable reasons. I was told to come back after the weekend.Talking to my school's disability counselor about how going unmedicated was worsening my anxiety, and they suggested that I ask for a note explaining that my meds were delayed since this affected my schoolwork. I didn't at all feel entitled for this note, but I figured I would ask and not expect for anything. At least I could practice advocating for myself. Come Monday, I receive a voicemail saying it's in as expected. I picked up the prescription and ask the pharmacist if "they would feel comfortable" writing a note for me about the delayed medication. She said the medication came in on Friday, inconsistent with what I was told in-person and on the phone. When she asked why the note, I said it's for school and instantly she shook her head. With so much judgement she said no, no I'm not writing a note for that while walking away. The way she talked to me was so condescending, cold, and mean. I don't know any better if it's inappropriate or not, but just tell me like you would a person. I didn't care about the note but the way she said it- I ended up crying in the car over how hurtful she talked to me. Please do better for yourself than going here. I've never been so talked down to by a medical professional.

Ralphs Pharmacy is one of the best pharmacy for me. Thank you very much for making it so extra-special. I’ll definitely be back!

When I called to confirm that my prescription was available for pickup, she indicated it would not be available for at least another four days. No one called me regarding the delay. Since I needed this med sooner I obtained it from a better pharmacy with much better customer service.
