Riviera Beach House is a boutique hotel with an excellent location, just one and a half blocks from the beach and within walking distance to downtown, the Funk Zone, and the Aquarium. The rooms are teeny tiny, compact, and smaller, good for one or maybe two people max, or comfortably housing four people max. First-floor rooms offer a great bonus of a private little patio, perfect for pets or people to enjoy. The hotel provides incredibly friendly, wonderful, and amazing service where all staff go above and beyond. They greet guests warmly, offer great recommendations, and help make stays comfortable. The hotel is very clean, with super clean bed sheets, and a beautiful little lobby that smells nice, offering fresh lemon water and delicious coffee. The property is very pet-friendly and community-centered, sometimes hosting wine events. The hotel does not have an elevator but provides a luggage dolly. It is next to a train that passes a few times a day, which is super charming, and noise quiets down by 10pm. Overall, it is a well-thought-out, highly recommended place for a comfortable stay in Santa Barbara.
Wonderful stay. Definitely would return. Rooms are a little small but well equipped and very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this hotel. Nicole and her staff were so kind and attentive. Amazing service.

Great clean hotel with very nice staff. Also the room service and food from the attached restaurant Santo Mezcal are phenomenal.
