I've been here several times , different days , different times and it's always the same Z. They have one cashier and the line is huge. Stressing the cashier . Stressing the customers. Can't hire one more cashier ? But they have 3 security guards just standing there ... terrible

Worst ROSS i’ve ever been to. The line was about 20+. I came in for a quick purchase and there’s one cashier. I see the manager walking around pretending to be busy with a line like this and only one cashier. Horrible!

I just spent an hour shopping at Ross, only to find out upon checkout that there was only ONE cashier (who hasn't yet had her break)! There are currently about 35 extremely patient people in a long, winding line, but not me, I left my stuff behind! I feel SO BAD for the sole cashier tonight, this is on management and the company. They need to hire more cashiers!! Meanwhile, they have about 4 "prevention loss" employees walking around; Couldn't these employees also be trained to handle the registers?! This is completely outrageous, this is NOT OKAY, Ross!! ?

If you want long lines and racism this is the best place to be! The cashier hinted that I changed security tags on a hand bag like ma’am HOW. Rude, racist, and underpaid. Find something better to do you might as well pay full price to be treated better at an outlet mall.

Not sure what's going on with Ross but to have 1 checker and a line 20 deep is simply not customer friendly. More security and receipt checkers than other staff....

The lines here are always unnecessarily long. I don't think I've ever seen 2 registers open. Definitely not a place to quickly grab anything. Expect a 30+ minute time in line. The men's department usually is fairly empty. Everything department is usually a mess. Save your time and go to Marshall's downtown.

The cash only checkout line was very long as usual with one cashier. The credit card only line/ self checkout was empty. Was shopping with a disadvantaged teen and her 2 year old, who was crying. Checker said we'd have to wait in the cash only line because we had 9 items instead of 8. I'd been shopping with these teens for years and was never turned away from the credit card line. I pleaded to let us through the empty credit card line. New policy, not good considering there was one cashier in the cash only line, who had to take off hangers, remove tags, and handle cash for each customer. I asked for the manager and she wouldn't come. A customer began to heckle me and the child cried louder. After we checked out I asked for the manager again. After a long wait she appeared and was, as suspected, very young. She said she had to follow corporate policy. Not blaming the employees for the rule and enforcing it, but I do blame them for refusing to bring the issue forward to their higher ups and the corporate office. When I asked, the manager pointed to a bulletin board and told me I could call her myself. Rude, but I wasn't surprised.

This Ross Is Currently Extremely Short Staffed With Customer Service. Its Putting Alot Of Pressure Not Only On The One Cashier That Is Doing Returns, Doing Cashier And Having To Leave The Cash Register To Look For Price Checks. Its Also Causing Customers To Lose Their Patience Causing Them To Leave The Line To Pay. Therefore Customers Are Wasting Their Time Shopping And Waiting In Line. If You Want To Shop At La Cumbre Santa Barbara Ross You Need And Must Have ALL Of The Patience In The World And Hours Of Waiting To Pay For Your Items. Its Heart Breaking To See People Breaking Their Heads And Backs Due To Not Having Complete Cashiers. Im Not Sure If This Cashiers Are Being Abused By The Higher Management Or Higher Workers Like Supervisors, Managers And Etc. This Is Unacceptable The Cashier Is Very Stressed Out I Felt The Pain. ALL Customers Are Clearly Seeing ALL Of The Red Flags And They Were Not Happy At All. I Really Hope That The Employees Get The Help That They Need And Would Want. I Can Only Imagine For The Holidays How Hectic Its Going To Be If They Dont Get The Support They Need. The Cashier Is In Need Of Extreme Severe Help. Im Pretty Sure Theres Still Going To Be Very Upset Customers If This Major Issue Doesnt Get Fixed. Another Thing Customers Who Do Not Have Carts Or Baskets Are Also Struggling To Carry Their Items In Their Hands If They Are Waiting For A Long Time In Line For The Just One Cashier To Attend Them. Self Check Outs Are Trash Especially If They Do Not Take Cash. Theres Too Many Issues That Need Fixing Im Pretty Sure Theres Plenty More We Dont Know Of:(
