Michael Romo has cut my hair for over 20 years because he is a very talented hairdresser who consistently executes the perfect haircut. I moved out of state and missed him so much for a little over 3 years. Just visited SB to primarily get a GOOD and restorative haircut and Michael knocked it out the park as usual. Highly recommend Michael for a good haircut while having great conversation at the same time. I'll miss you until I get back again!

Their location has changed to 5 E Figueroa! I have been to Michael for a haircut 3 times now. I have long hair, which I usually go to just get trimmed about once a year. A few weeks ago, I went to see Michael again and wanted to change my hair up with some face-framing layers. Michael did an awesome job with what I wanted and what worked with my hair. He is always open to talking about a multitude of topics, or not talking at all! I always leave Salon U feeling refreshed and 100% happy with my haircut.

Michael, the owner, does a great job on layering my wavy/curly hair. It is not very easy to create the right layers to make it flow and lay nicely. I am very happy with his work/talents. I have been seeing him for over a year now and highly recommend him.Services: Body Waxing

This beauty shop offers a great relaxing atmosphere and the best service in the area. The hairstylist did a great job on my hair. She made sure that I look stunning with my new hairstyle, which I love it. All the staves were so friendly and accommodating. The place was spacious as well. Highly recommended!

Michael is a lovely, welcoming professional who runs a friendly salon. He takes his time with each client and always listens carefully to what I'm looking for in my cut.
