It's a smog shop with personality, something you don't expect, but very Santa Barbara. Fast, friendly, skilled, and a family business. I can't say open a DMV smog check letter with joy, but I know exactly where to go with it. You should too.

Riccardo's shop is a sight to behold and makes getting your car smogged a real experience. There are artifacts from more than 30 years of collecting automobile- and Santa Barbara-related items, as well as license plates from all over the US and the world. Riccardo is very friendly, keeps his appointments meticulously and his work exudes experience, competence, efficiency and a genuine love for what he does. This is a great mechanic located close to the funk zone in Santa Barbara. The owner and his son are honest and take the time to explain why you may not need the service requested saving you money and helping you better understand your vehicles mechanics and service patterns. Additionally they are quick and have really reasonable rates.Service: Transmission

Went in for a last minute smog need and was able to be seen on the spot. The shop has an incredible vintage bike collection that's a dream to admire! ( I also have a vintage bike collection but not nearly as amazing as theirs). Welcoming service done quickly. It was a great price too! I highly recommend bringing your car here. There are some fun cars and trucks for sale on the property (had my eye on this little red Jag). He even turned the car around for me so I could exit the shop safely. Thank you so much for making this a painless experience!
