“We are so beyond happy with our experience at Discoveries! The staff are like family to us and we trust them fully with our two boys. We’ve now been there for 2.5 years and are familiar with all of the teachers and can say for certain that they go above and beyond. I think it’s rare to find a school where everyone feels like family, yet you still have the structure, support, professionalism, and expertise of a well oiled machine. It goes without saying that our boys love it and are there M-F half days. Highly recommend!!”

“We love Learningden! Our son is thriving in this wonderful environment. All the teachers and staff truly care about the children. The school is a vibrant, inclusive, safe and most importantly fun atmosphere. The cherry on top is that the students aren’t rushed. The day is thoughtfully curated with Music, STEAM activities, classroom time and ample outdoors. The school even provides healthy morning and mid day snacks. The whole team goes above and beyond. Can’t believe we get to have our child attend this amazing school! It feels how school should be…communal, thoughtful, engaging and full of love and fun. After initially enrolling our child at one of the most sought-after preschools in Santa Barbara, we eventually realized that popularity doesn’t always equal the right fit. While things started off fine, after a couple years our child began to experience behavioral issues and expressed fear about going to school. It became clear he didn’t feel safe or supported in that environment, and as parents, it was incredibly difficult to watch. That’s when I visited Child’s Play, a place many of our friends had recommended—and the moment I walked through the gate, I knew it was different. “My 5 months old thrived at H4K La Cumbre. He would still be attending if we had not moved. Ms. Natalie, Ms. Marlene, and Ms. Marina felt like family. They helped my son learn how to sit independently, did lots of sensory play and art, and helped me get him on a solid napping schedule. You can see how much they love their jobs.Doing mostly nursing at home, they helped my son transition to purées. I miss H4K.”

They ALWAYS protect the integrity of the kids. They also care about the parents and their well-being. They also help kids that go through emotional trauma and offer many resources. My daughter was there for 2 years, and she absolutely loved it”

“Attending San Marcos was an incredible experience for my siblings and me (Classes of 2014, 2019, and 2023). The teachers' dedication and passion created an engaging, but also comforting and safe learning environment. They went above and beyond to ensure our success and made even the most challenging topics accessible. Their personalized attention and tailored teaching methods helped us grow academically. The extracurricular activities such as sports and clubs offered something for everyone and created a sense of belonging.SM also embraced diversity and created an inclusive community; I made lifelong friends from different backgrounds, expanding my horizons and learning from different perspectives. I'm very grateful to the teachers and staff for their dedication, enthusiasm, and support, especially to my French teacher Mrs. Cummings if you're out there reading this.
