Vanessa spent a lot of time talking about the color and cut I wanted. Which was nice, instead of just jumping into whatever. She ended up doing highlights and balayage in my hair. I let her do whatever she asked since by that time I knew she knew what she was doing. I really like the color and cut. I am pleasantly pleased. Her prices are fair, which is very much appreciated.
I will definitely be going back to her. She’s my definite go to.
She’s also very down to earth.

I had my first appointment yesterday with Vanessa Kent at Studio S Salon. I was impressed and appreciative that she took time to really listen to what I liked and what worked and didn't work for my hair. She also took time with creating my color and cut to create a wonderful result. I am very happy with my hair and will definitely be returning!

I had a really great experience! Walked in without an appointment, and got one with Vanessa (upstairs) - and what can I say, she was amazing!
I went from long to a bob, but with fine hair it takes a really good stylist to make it right, and she did wonders! I'm super happy with the result, after a detailed consultation, had a wonderful time and she gave me amazing tips for what styling products suit my hair!
Definitely recommend her and the salon, very good vibe, very friendly people, and Vanessa is a really skilled hair stylist.

I have been going to Victoria at Studio S for the past year and a half and I have never been disappointed! She always does exactly what I have envisioned :) she is a perfectionist and will do whatever it takes to get it just right! She is always so happy and bubbly, so the whole experience is perfect 10/10 recommend her - she also works Sundays which is unusual for a hairdresser and I am so thankful to her! This is the color + cut she did the day before my wedding day, I loved it!

Currently visiting family in Santa Barbara after having lived here for 22 years. No matter where I move, it will be tough for any salon to match Studio S.My stylist for multiple years has been Nise Baker. If you want hair that makes everyone on the streets do a double take, she's your girl. People that seek out a well preforming hair stylist are picky with their hair. Fact. I am no different from this crowd, and likely worse. Despite how emotional, picky and confusing I can be about my hair, Nise is receptive and caring. Her demeanor allows my experience at Studio S to feel as though I am not far away from the comforts of my own home.Overall, this studio is clean and beautiful. They have also exposed me to amazing products and priceless hair care knowledge. Every stylist is beyond friendly as they offer coffee, water, snacks and smiles. I hope this studio never closes down as it would be tough to find anything that comes close.
