Friendly staff. They don't do the hard sale like other ordinary dealers. Sheamus is very friendly

Absolutely horrible service. Unwilling to to take the smallest action to solve a problem. Once you've paid your reservation fee they are done helping you in any way. They are not shy about letting you know you can deal with their lack of interest in helping you or lose your reservation fee. Absolutely the worst. Order your car online and skip dealing with the miserable employees of this dealership.

Very disappointed in tesla went in asking about the 7500 tax credit only to hear different answers from every staff member if there gonna use it as an incentive to get ppl in the door you should know what your talking about not just guessing they quoted me on a trade in only to change there mind later without even seeing the car i asked for my 250 back after being lied to and mislead and they refuse its not my fault you don't know what your selling i ended up driving 3 hrs to pick up a car only to see all the red flags and lack of knowledge you would think a sales person should know dont visit santa barbara or upland ca tesla

Do not recommend. I noticed that my steering wheel was off-center but they kept trying to convince me it was all my imagination.According to their "expert" opinion there was no problem. My experience could not be trusted. But guess what? After a lot of arguing and drama they finally agreed to check the alignment(they did it for free so I give them that) they did discover it was not within specs.I get the feeling that no matter what the problem is that you are having with the car, their first reaction is to try to push back and tell you that "there is no problem".They are ok at their job I guess, but they make the experience of owning a Tesla horrible.

Returned our model y after lease end, and they charged wear and tear for items that were returned. These guys have their heads in dark, damp places. Furthermore, they prematurely canceled a reservation without notice. Lost another customer for life. Great job Team!

I took delivery of a 2020 S in August. It had several defects which should have been caught prior to delivery, including water intrusion in the front from the air condition, a non-functioning cruise control, which I reported immediately, and was told to reboot the computer, and failure of the FOBs, meaning that I could only start the car with my phone. The initial service appointment was given as two weeks off, but I brought it in, and after a 4 hour wait was given a loaner. They did repair everything.

Cameron at the Hitchcock Way-Santa Barbara location helped organize our test drive for a Tesla Model Y. In addition to helping us get situated in the car, Cameron and the staff were all incredibly professional and helped answer all our questions about the models and potential purchase approaches. Fantastic experience.

Staff was great and very informative, answered all our questions in the best way they can with precise accuracy. When the person ahead of us took a test drive for more than 30 minutes and delayed our demo experience Sheamus and the staff found other alternatives for us to test drive sooner, I look forward to working on making purchases at this location soon, thank you for your awesome passion in service ?

Most of the positive reviews are of excited people who have just purchased their first Tesla. Thing is once you've purchased your car Tesla could care less about you. This was one of the worst service centers I've ever dealt with. Absolute disaster, take your business elsewhere!

Never in my life would I have thought about getting/owning a Tesla until now. Cameron was THE guy to help us and he was fantastic. He let us test drive the Model 3 Tesla and my, my, my it was so cool and fun! It was so easy to drive and while I'm not used to cameras in a car, I will have to get used to it at some point. After the test drive, Cameron discussed the multiple options of payment plans and even discussed the different rebates I could apply to lower the cost of the vehicle. At the end of the day, Cameron was so patient with us and stayed until we got everything settled. I know very little about cars and payment options so having my boyfriend and Cameron there was a huge plus. Thanks for the great service, Cameron!

This is a review for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT, not sales. Specifically the manager MYRA at the Santa Barbara Location. We have owned our model 3 for almost a year now. Besides new tires, we have not complaints on the car. Recently on a short distance road trip, we reclined the passenger chair all the way to sleep. When this happened we hear an odd noise under the passenger seat. Shortly after we received a notification regarding Passenger safety restraint failure. We put it off at first as we have had notifications show and then go away shortly after. This notification would not go away. We then researched the issue and notices that this is due to a system failure in the seat and we would need to schedule a service. I was in the area of a service center and decided to bring the car in. When I brought it in i let the tech know that I would be taking another road trip and would like it addressed due to safety concerns. I was told that they would take a look at it and repair and then have me pick the car up. They also then put me in a loaner. I was told I would hear back by the end of the day on 6/20/23.I received a call later in the day by the tech. I was told that the reason of the failure was damage to the wires under the seat and that this service would not be covered under warranty. I explained that the model 3 does not have room for anything to be stored under the seat so there would be no obstruction. Additionally, I do not have children, and with the price of the vehicle, no one pulled on any wires under the seat. The only way that this could be caused is from the floor mat in the back getting stuck under the seat, which has happened before. I believe that is a design flaw. I then asked to be escalated to a manager. I was told they would get back to me on 6/21/23 regarding this issue. I received a call then from MYRA the service manager. She explained that the service is not covered under warranty and that the cost is 2,400 for a new seat, and the seat cannot be repaired. I again explained the situation to her and she stated that nothing would change. Fast Forward to today 7/15/23. I decided to take a look at the wires myself since I have always been pretty good at figuring out issues when things break. I noticed that there was a box under the seat and one of the slots to the box was missing the part. I then noticed that the wire that became unplugged was suppose to be in the slot. I unplugged the other two wires and opened the box, I notices two prongs where the other wire should be. On the end of the wire that was unplugged still had the part that should be in the module box. I unplugged it from the wire and slipped the piece back over the prongs (seen in photo). I put the Box back together and plugged in all three wires back under the seat.Within seconds THE LIGHT TURNED OFF. I drove the car around and the light stayed off. Problem solved! My issues is that this was such a simple fix, i figured it out within 15 minutes. Yet the service center tried to get me to buy a whole new seat for 2,500. Aren't they suppose to be the "EXPERTS".I am very disappointed with this center and the fact that they lied and said it couldn't be fixed and attempted to charge me 2,500. I will be visiting the center to let them know my frustrations.Make sure to get a second opinion before giving them money to fix anything!

Easy in and easy out. Looks like they are keeping up with the higher volume of customers.

I took delivery of my Model 3 on Saturday (June 10th) with a camera calibration error. Drove it for 30 mins and the cameras went black. I drove back to the dealership and was told to make a service appoint thru the app. I waited 2 days for the appointment and as of writing this Tesla has had the car longer than I have. This should have been handle before my delivery. A loaner vehicle was never offered, I don’t even think anyone apologized.A $1200 Delivery/PDI should have caught this… The photo is before I moved the car from the delivery spot.Posted on google because there isn’t a CS line or other forum.

We are on our fourth Tesla and only had outstanding experience with the Santa Barbara delivery and service center. The cars obviously have very little issues, close to zero maintenance. If ever tires need to be replaced or a calibrating is due, the staff at this service center has always gone out of their way to make it quick and easy. Love, love, love and highly recommend this center.
