Lead guy was an unfriendly dick named Eric who didn't bother to turn around, Acknowledge or respond to a customer's greeting. Maybe it's because he was training a newbie on her 4th day. No excuses. It's not like he didn't hear me.

I had an excellent experience here renting a 10’ truck to help move a friend. It was easy affordable and the staff was super helpful. Drop off was unbelievable , I used the after hours drop off and it was super and convenient. I had absolutely no issues. Thank you for an enjoyable experience!

I had a wonderful experience with this uhaul rental facility. It is in a Great location between my house and storage unit off hollister and modoc which made things very convenient. The staff was all helpful, knowledgeable and patient. Ray, who checked me in and out, was outstanding. He is so kind and went above and beyond to make my experience as easy as possible. They also made a great recommendation for hourly movers who I now highly recommend as well: “George’s Movers”! Thank you to the whole staff! You helped make my experience easy, efficient and affordable.

Ugh. Horrible service. Dealt with someone named Bobby who works there. Nothing but attitude for no reason at all. Not nice people. Manager was the same. It'll drain you.

Absolutely, horrible customer service! A man by the name of Phillip was so rude to my wife that it actually left me stunned. When we asked him questions, he just stared at us. He then got a smirk on his face as he made me wait to return my truck as he filled up the windshield washer fluid, still not answering any of my questions. The girl inside at the counter was quite nice, the truck was OK even though when we picked it up, it had barely 1/8th of a tank of gas. if I am going to rent something I don't want to have to first go and fill it up.

Ruben and crew offer absolutely superior customer service. Working in the rain they helped us fix our fuses that weren't working on our truck connection. He also brought us some coffee while we were waiting for the trailer to be hooked up! I was especially impressed at His sense of humor, commitment, patience and knowledge. Will always return here for future moving needs. Thanks Ruben, you guys are all awesome!

I was falsely accused of damaging a light on on the truck. Seems to me they missed the damage from a previous renter and tried to push it on me.

Staff was helpful; truck was ready and pulled out for me. The U-Haul check-out by app process seemed to lag, especially with identity verification, when I was physically there with a staff member. But that's a U-Haul thing not specific to this location; I'd definitely use this location again in the future.

Service was okay, using the app was fairly straightforward but took a while to upload the documents for verification. Picking up the rental truck through the app was fair, except they had forgotten to put the dolly in and I had to drive all the way back.

Check out their outgoing VM message. It’s meant to make a mockery of customers. The message sounds like it’s a live agent on the other side, and he pauses before continues with the message. It’s meant to mock people into start talking; thinking it’s an agent. Just a Vile place and horrible service!

I am leaving SB after 40 years of loving our perfect beach village. I reserved a truck and car carrier online months ago. Now that I'm a week away, I went to this location to confirm my order, pick up, information and purchase some supplies. I reviewed my questions with Gabriela, the General Manager. There were a couple surprises no one mentioned previously that I'm very hopeful we ironed out. I wouldn't have known about them without her and no one wants surprises when they show up to get their rental. Gabriela listened carefully to my questions and was very polite, personable and professional with me. She knows her operation and the ins and outs of renting from UHaul. I am giving them 5 stars before I even pick up the truck due to how nice Gabriela has been. If you find yourself in my flip-flops and are planning a move, I highly recommend reaching out to Gabriela with your plans and questions. My fingers are crossed that everything goes perfectly next week and my car, possessions and I will be off on an epic road trip to the Rocky Mountains. I'm sure Gabriela will continue to help me through every step of the process. I'll write again after I unload and turn the truck in at the UHaul at my destination.
