What a spot. This is one of the most convenient locations for certain tasks. They definitely served good coffee at a reasonable price, as well as delicious cookies. I was rocking in my seat because of the music they were playing. This is always the place! I would strongly recommend it to my peers, family, and coworkers. Continue your good work!

Excellent job! This coffee shop actually offers the finest coffee for me! Every time I come here, the employees are incredibly polite and have even greeted me excitedly. It was a really delicious coffee, and I owe it to this barista, who prepares it quite well. It was a nice spot to hang out with friends and family.

I went to the area with two colleagues. I asked some locals for a recommendation and was guided to this coffee shop. The dark chocolate mocha hit the spot and was perfect for breakfast! They serve everything from breakfast to dinner, and if you're not sure what you're looking for, the daily specials are a great option.

I don't live close to Whole Foods so today I had time and decided to drive to the closest one near me, I bought 3 little desserts and one of them was a fruit tart. I got home and ate half of it and then noticed one of the fruits had mold at the bottom of it :( the raspberry had rolled on to the plastic container when I was about to take a bite and I picked it up and noticed it had mold :( super sad, hoping the pastry wasn't expired and that it was just a bad pice of fruit since I ate half of it. I called the store and I should get refunded the $2 next time I come in and show them the pic and the receipt, definitely won't be anytime soon since I don't leave near Whole Foods. On a positive note the staff was nice :)

Love this Whole Foods! I wish they carried more of my favorite gelato from Nancy Silverton! This is the real deal gelato!

Store is small, hope they find a bigger location or open another store. I like the facility offers plastic recycling. One thing that is odd is a trashy sign that says "no amazon boxes". Amazon delivers all kinds of packaging and owns Whole Foods. Some of us like to recycle, would be nice to be more specific and put up a more professional sign.

SAFETY FAIL--Sorry to say March 2021 the Santa Barbara Whole Foods was very poorly managed for COVID safety! This is a warning and hopefully will get the staff attention, since I pointed out problems during my visit and was ignored. I like the food, get reasonable prices with my Prime membership, and for most of the pandemic I've been happy with the pickup service option. But today I had to dash inside to examine some specialty items and I was shocked and disappointed: it was crowded, chaotic, and staff were milling around too close to customers and doing nothing to manage the flow of bodies--there were even several unmasked customers wandering around. It is a bad contrast to Trader Joe's, that limits the number of entries, checks masks at the door, has clear arrows for traffic flow, staff gently remind customers to insure spacing at the registers. I mentioned this to a few local friends, and they said, "Oh yeah, you can't set foot in that store anymore--only use it if you have time to order pickup"--so it is not just me, and not just one bad day. You can do better WF! I will be back when and if you do ;).

While Whole Foods is one of the most accessible grocery stores near me, its excessive use of plastic packaging and single-use plastics concerns me as a shopper. I only hope that it cuts down on its plastic use to really abide by its image as a sustainable chain, and so that customers like me know that we are playing a part as environmentally-conscious shoppers!

Not a frequent shopper, but I come here occasionally to pick up specialty items I normally have trouble finding at other grocery stores. The Amazon Prime Visa card also comes in clutch, with 5% cash back on purchases and extra perks for members. When I go to buy my produce and essentials, I like to be in and out of the store quickly and pain-free. This Whole Foods is pretty the exact opposite of that. Everything is so cramped inside and out, I straight up just don't enjoy coming here. The parking lots around Gelson's and Bristol Farms are super spacious and well planned out for easy access for both patrons and vehicles alike. At this location? Apparently someone thought it was a good idea to pack in as many spots as possible. Once parked, backing out can be challenging if you have a large van or SUV. The trend continues as you walk in, with narrow aisles and mobs of people converging to make shopping here a sour experience even pre-pandemic. Lining up to checkout is also a pain. Selection is okay, more or less in line with other stores. Amazon returns accepted. There's also free two-hour delivery for orders over $35, which sounds nice. Maybe next time I should try it out, or choose curbside pick up.

Whole Foods is known for its broad array of organic and healthy products, but I have not shopped at one since last may when I politely confronted an employee who wasn't wearing her mask properly and was consequently harassed and verbally assaulted by her and her manager. I was followed and chased out of the store and met by police who told me I wasn't welcome to shop there anymore and said if I returned I would be arrested -- I have family ember a in law enforcement who were appalled by this incident. Whole Foods didn't offer so much as an apology. They sided with the employee didn't offer me a gift card or anything as consideration. Wha happened to customer service and the customer being right. Clearly they don't value their customers. I was going to pursue it with my attorney and sue them for the emotional trauma I endured (you would not believe the tears I shed over this brutal incident), but shortly after the incident I moved and then suffered a terrible loss of one of my animals and I just wasn't up for another fight even though I know I would have won. so all my hard earned grocery money now goes to Bristol Farms and Trader Joe's. It will be a cold day in hell before whole food gets a dime of my money.

Compared to all the other Whole Foods I have gone to this is my least favorite. The first thing you notice is the weird parking lot with cramped spaces. Then on entering the store you see the crampiness has spilled into the inside with some very narrow aisles. The selection seemed greatly reduced as well so I hope that Santa Barbara has another Whole Foods for the people living there. We walked away from our brief stop with very little purchased.

Staff was especially pleasant and available, as there are lots of options, although a small range within. Good selection of seafood and meats, and cheeses.

I started coming to Whole Foods during the pandemic because they were one of the only markets offering curbside pickup. I have been using them pretty much exclusively to get meat and a couple of vegetables that the Isla Vista Food Co-op doesn't have regularly. I never went to Whole Foods before mostly because it's halfway across town from where I live, and I'd prefer to shop locally at the Isla Vista Co-op. Something important to mention before I continue is that I haven't actually been inside of this market. I've only experienced it from a curbside pickup perspective, so I have no idea what the interior of the market is like. Curbside pickup has so far worked out fairly well for me. Prices here seem to be fairly similar to Sprouts. Every time I've been here, Sara has brought out the groceries, and she does a great job of loading everything into the trunk of the car. Thank you so much for the great service, Sara. Sometimes, the substitution feature has been kind of strange in terms of what it's given me (or even that things have been substituted when I asked for no substitutions for that specific item), but it hasn't been too bad overall, and I've been able to use everything. A few times, I have ordered items on the website and they are advertised at a certain price, and I end up receiving much more of a more expensive item than I ordered (e.g. close to 2 lbs of something that I ordered 1 lb of, and the price is sometimes 1.5 times what the website initially said). I get that things are really difficult during this time, but I just wish the Amazon site was kept more up to date with these kinds of price changes. Anyway, if you're exclusively doing curbside pickup these days (a wise move, in my opinion), you'll do well to shop here. Be sure to check out the Isla Vista Food Co-op as well because their curbside pickup program is excellent, and you're benefitting a local organization by shopping there.

We bought an apple pie for Thanksgiving and it was disgusting. The bottom crust was completely raw and oozy. The apples were tasteless and the pie was somehow too sweet but salty at the same time. I was so embarrassed to have served this pie as everyone who had taken a piece said it was inedible and threw their piece away. I want my $10 back but it's not worth returning the remains at the store. Don't buy pies at Whole Foods!!

Horrible service at deli counter. No one there but us. Ignored for more than 5 minutes. No exaggeration. When my wife finally said, "hello, can we get some service," the response was, "wait, we'll get to you in a moment." When I retorted, that's what Yelp is for, suddenly both employees behind the counter had time to help us. Too little, too late. I recommend anywhere else. Especially Sprouts, where there is exemplary service.
