I haven't been there nor I have walked by the Wildcat. An ex-girlfriend (for purposes of the story we are gonna call her Nicole) invited me for a coffee and during our conversation she told me she had decided to start a relationship with another woman and she was gay.Great!!! finally we have something in common I said. She looked at me with a surprise/wow expression. So I added, yes I like girls too!!! ?I got punched in the arm for that one.If ever Nicole, we meet again, we could go to the Wildcat for a drink

We are from outside the area. We were there tonight and apparently it was a benefit for a regular. There were 2 bartenders and one was really rude. In fact he actively avoided serving us for whatever reason- maybe because we weren't regulars? One example was I was in line for drinks and when it was my time to order , he turned away and asked another person who just returned to their chair if they wanted a drink. Hello???? The other bartender was very nice and accommodating.I wish I knew his name but he was the shorter of the two bartenders. If you know him, please tell him to be more considerate and accommodating.

Wildcat Lounge is like the VIP section of nightlife - but with a twist of wildness that's as unpredictable as my dance moves after a few drinks. The ambiance is so stylish that even the disco ball is jealous. The DJ? A musical wizard turning beats into pure magic. I'm convinced the dance floor has a magnetic force because once you step on it, there's no turning back from your dance destiny. The bartenders are cocktail conjurers - ask for a potion, and they'll whip up something that'll make you believe in liquid luck. And can we talk about the staff? Friendliness level: Expert. They're like the cool kids you always wanted to be friends with in school, but now they're serving you drinks. Wildcat Lounge is not just a venue; it's a party sanctuary where laughter echoes and good vibes flow like confetti. If you're ready to upgrade your nightlife experience to legendary status, this is the spot. Get ready to dance, laugh, and savor the wild side of nightlife!

Went here on a Saturday night and tried it again Sunday afternoon. It was an okay time. It's a cool spot with good music to pop in and have a reasonably priced drink.

Holy crap worst club in SB... I'd been here before but this was a different nightmare. When I was working bar security at an age much younger than 21 yet occasionally visiting here, it was a fun experience. I had only been around downtown about an hour and a half that night, yet when I asked for a drink the bartender told me she couldn't make an AMF because her 'shift wasn't over' yet James Joyce served me liquor cocktails just fine. I'd had gone to the bathroom and accidentally, slightly bumped into the walls in there and they suddenly refused to service me. Their reasoning was due (according to their words) was me being around down town all night. Like I mentioned, I was around the area for less than 2 hours and they immediately accused me of being too drunk to even order a single drink. The bar tender continued to gaslight me with more lies WHILE I WAS INTOXICATED and told me to leave. I didn't cause any patrons or staff a ruckus, nobody complained to me about any issues yet I was kicked out?! I've met some ratchet bar tenders before, not only were they unable to make an AMF but they gaslight customers to the point of feeling de-humanized and leaving?! In all my years of customer service and visiting such establishments I have never felt like a piece of shit. Is it because they see a man walk in with another man they want to lower their standards to get rid of gay customers as quickly as possible?! A different bar charged me near $40 for 2 drinks yet this was the worst experience of the night. I'm begging you, do not visit Wild Cats if they're the last bar on earth. If I wasn't on the brink of tears because of how they offended and abused me, I'd call their service laughable and embarrassing but now I'd rather call it harassing and near bullying. Once again, do not spend any money or make any affiliation with Wild Cats in Santa Barbara. This place served me alcohol before I was 21 over a year ago

If you are a person with any dignity, do not bother coming here on a Friday or Saturday night... The security has let the idea of this being the "go to" spot in SB turn into a power trip. Security is extremely rude. Was not shocked reading through these reviews to see similar opinions. The bathrooms are also filthy. Clientele is sleazy and has no class. Go dance at Backstage where the security is not rude for no reason, where you are not packed in like a cockroach den, and waiting for the third world country bathrooms.

I just want to mention that Kevin (one of the bouncers) is literally the reason why I come to this club. If you ever have the privilege of meeting him, he is actually the sweetest & most helpful employee I've ever encountered anywhere. This might sound silly, but whenever I come I always inquire about where he's stationed because he's actually the best & I just love our conversations! All aside, the silent disco is a lot of fun but tbh if Kevin wasn't there I'd stop coming; he's that awesome
