The staff are either nice or extremely rude. I was asking about what airsoft guns to buy and the employee started an argument with me about how I should have known what to get before coming in.This is a store where you shop and go. DO NOT COME IN EXPECTING A FRIENDLY ENVIRMENT. The owner is always pissed and the employees are hit or miss. Most airsofters in the bay already know of this so take this as a caution before going in.

It is the best place for people who want to start playing airsoft, the first time I went there when I was 12 i got a rental and tried the range and it was super cool. After 2 visits when I turned 13 I saved up money for a sti duty one pistol and a lazer. The staff were super friendly in my opinion.

very nice and fun and small field so cqb is common also u need to book in advance they have a range and shop too however the rental guns sometimes jam and stop working but if you bring your own gun its very fun

This is my first time ever writing a review about any business but I really feel I need to warn people about AEX. My son and I started shopping here at least 10 years ago, starting at their old location. Even in the beginning I could tell the employees were a bit rude and snooty. A Little overboard on their macho attitude. But it was the only airsoft store around so I continued to shop there until another store opened up here in San Jose called Dogtag Airsoft. Unfortunately, Dogtag wasn't around for very long but the employees were extremely helpful & friendly. They treated everyone like friends and family. They were very patient with newbies! When they closed I ended up going back to AEX. Unfortunately, it seemed as though their employees had become even more rude and impatient when asked questions. Even though they are only minutes away from where I live, I choose to shop online (thus paying for shipping and having long delivery times - but its worth it to avoid having to deal with the attitude and rudeness from AEX) from other stores since there are no others in my local area. Only under desperation to get a part quickly will I go to AEX and even then I always regret going there because the place has such a bad vibe. If you do go there, I recommend you know exactly what you're looking for and if you have any tech questions, look online rather than asking them and dealing with their unfriendly attitude. And to confirm what many of the other reviews have mentioned, the owner is the worst of them! I recommend that you avoid the owner at all costs! Took my son there on a busy Saturday to look at guns/gear, but had no intention of buying anything based on the myriad of neg reviews regarding the owner.The first employee to acknowledge us was the owner, who was busy with a customer, but still asked if we wanted to see anything (guns). We pointed to one, he gave it to us, and went back to helping the customer.When freed up, the next employee (long haired young guy) was super helpful, friendly, and answered all of my noob Q's.The next guy to help us was their armorer who was just as friendly/helpful.We ended up buying 2 guns, gear, etc. that day.Fast forward to today where my son and I went back to get more gear and accessories and were greeted by the same 2 awesome guys as before. Based on the experiences delivered by these employees, the selection of gear, and the competitive prices, I can easily rate this place 5 stars!

First airsoft gun purchased and first time experience in the store was great, met one of the Manager/Technician (Jeremy) I already had an idea of the airsoft gun platform I wanted and Jeremy gave me the whole breakdown on the gun, bought some accessories and ammo…very pleased!Came back a few days later and met the Store Owner Mr. Peter Ho, expected exceptional customer service and a plethora of knowledgeable information, got more than expected, told him how I’d like to have my gun perform and reasons, gave me options as to what I can do, I chose performance possibilities and he suggested choice items that would best suit my specific needs and wrote up a work order, sent me an email for the total price the next day? greatly appreciate the stores knowledgeable staff and professionalism…can’t wait to get the finished product☺️

So, I went here yesterday and was mostly interested/weary about the customer service per reviews.I will say it was definitely nothing amazing, but also was not awful. It’s actually a cool shop. They have pretty much anything you’d want/need. The guy who helped me came out from behind counter and approached to help me. So not a bad start. He wasn’t personable at all though…I suspect the owner who helped me. He wasn’t directly rude or said anything but just very short and kinda seemed to want to rush me a long a bit. For whatever reason he’d never look me in the eye either when talking. I don’t need to be friends by the end of being helped but answering any question I have with a one-two word response gives a vibe. Thankfully I was just buying eye pro so I didn’t need much help either, but I can see where an experience requiring more customer service (questions) could present more problems with the guy.All in all, it wasn’t bad. Got what I needed, and I’ll probably return soon to check out their field.

This is the first time I bought from them. They offer incredibly fast shipping, and are easy to work with. I ordered two separate orders with Airsoft Extreme after I ordered from another site(starts with e). I got both orders from Airsoft Extreme before I got one order from the other site. Both are on the west coast, and I'm on the east coast so location is not an issue. Anyway definitely recommend this site for online shopping!

I am an online customer. When I first called, I got a very knowledgeable and friendly staff member who helped answer some questions. Second time I called I got a very rude/angry staff member. Wasn’t professional and seemed fed up by me calling. Looking through the other reviews I read the responses by the “Owner” . It’s funny how childish the responses are. Just take a look at a few. It’s pretty bad. I’m probably going to get a “response” to this, so let’s see. Lol . Shout out to first guy who helped.

I had a terrible experience at this place. The owner, Peter, was extremely rude and ignored me. It made me feel awful. When I confronted him about it, he became defensive and told me I didn't have to buy anything if I didn't like it. It's clear that he hates both the customers and his job. The store seems alright, but the Asian guy at the counter (the owner?) was extremely rude and unfriendly. He gives elitist attitude, looking down on you and rolling his eyes as if you're stupid. I'm not a sensitive person, but I don't like being treated like trash. I can't fathom how they manage to stay afloat in the age of Amazon. They're selling plastic toys, not spaceships. Hope they will hire somebody who can actually work with the customers without scaring them away.Upd: it's quite amusing to read guy's responses to critical reviews. The fact that I compete in USPSA doesn't automatically make me a grand master. Actually, I'm not even in the B class. That's an open competition - everyone can come. You see 80 years old grandmas there as well as 13 years old kids. I literally never seen airsoft guns in my entire life before coming to the store and I was forward about it. Reading other reviews, it seems that the guy's entire purpose in life is to get in fight with his customers. He is like an overgrown child, who believes that his plastic toys are real. THEY ARE NOT.

This is my favorite local Airsoft one stop shop. They have extremely competitive prices for a US seller, have tons of pistols, rifles, gear, and replacement & upgraded parts. Don’t believe the negative reviews as my personal experience here has been nothing short of excellent. My hats off to Peter and his professional staff who are extremely knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions or concerns i have Airsoft related. Have been having to order less overseas now that I’ve found these guys locally!

Peter helped me out today with showing how to properly maintain my new Poseidon P80 showing how to disassemble, clean, and how to care for the magazines. He even went above and beyond by showing me how to care for the magazines and explained how to properly store them and explained how if not properly taken care for can cause issues with the o ring making them shrink. Enough of the ramble.Summary Peter was very helpful, knowledgeable, and made my experience shopping at airsoft extreme a 10/10. Thank you so much!
