I was on a short visit to Cupertino and managed to visit Anchor Electronics at the last minute :-) I stepped in around 3:40PM (20 minutes before the shop close time) but the friendly and extremely helpful staff managed to find the big list of components I was looking.
Amazing collection of components and not just a shop, more like a museum :-) they have small grab-bag like offers too (good deals indeed) Prices are very reasonable and the component quality is exceptional.
Make sure to study the inventory first (you can find it in the website) then come up with a list of components you want! that will help everyone! Also make sure to go there early so you can take time and explore the collections!
So glad to see Alicia! and please convey my best regards to the gentleman who helped me with finding all of my transistors and ICs 3> ! Hope to see you soon again!

Amazing store! I’m so happy they exist. I needed high density DIP 15 plug for a project (I had ordered the wrong type from a website) and it was amazing to be able to pick exactly what I needed locally! Will come again!

Love this place. I go here every few weeks to pick up parts. They have a great variety of components and tools for hobbyist electronics. The store is clean and orderly, and the staff is friendly. The prices are very reasonable.
I like how they often have boxes of miscellaneous old-stock components under their sorted parts. E.g., I grabbed a few BNC adapters from the jar of misc adapters placed under their wall of sorted BNC crimp-on connectors. There's always an interesting find lurking in here to give me new project ideas!

It's the last retail electronic components store in Silicon Valley. Shop there, so they stay open. They focus on prototype parts, tools, and supplies. Well organized, well stocked, fair prices, professional staff.

I have purchased electronic components from Anchor Electronics for years. They have a large selection of components and a well-organized showroom. The entire inventory and price is well documented and also available online. The employees are class-act professionals and always ready to help the moment you step into the store. Anchor Electronics is one of the few electronic component supply stores left in Silicon Valley. That, combined with their large inventory and reasonable prices is what makes me want to shop there again and again even though there are many online options available for purchasing electronic components.
