Very positive experience. I actually had problems with Uhaul.com and the 800 number, but the staff was really good about fixing them. It was very easy to talk to them and the U-Box offered me a flexibility option that not many others allowed. The delivery driver was very chill. The staff at the counter was very professional and understanding.

This location always has wonderful staff always willing to help. Last night Micheal Tony spent time answering my questions even though I got there minutes before closing! thanks for excellent service!

This place got you the vehicle quick and was very helpful to get you a storage and take the time to show you how you get into the storage and where your storage room is located for your convenience really great place if you need to rent a truck was very satisfied with this place.

Alarm goes off when people forget to "Check in" before getting carts.. so its going off all the time.. deafening!!!! and so annoying. Other than that its a bit sketchy at night with some living out of the units and their cars.. sad but be careful. We were verbally attacked by one woman who felt she did not need to move out of our way while she blocked the elevator doors when we try to leave.. Scary.. dont talk to anyone if you dont have to. Other than that staff are nice! Please give people room to exit the elevator. Value for money i give them top marks but they need to work on that Alarm system.

I am beyond words. If I could give a negative 5, I would. Last month, I moved some stuff into a storage unit, and I rented a moving truck as well. I got a deal online, which I thought was great. Everything went well. The BAD part is the person who worked the register didn't know what he was doing and had no understanding of technology or online orders. When I offered the online order number, he didn't want to see it. He said he found me, so I proceeded to move things out of a house and into a storage unit at U-Haul. I was giving the price of 85.00 a month, which includes insurance. So a month later, I got two charges, one for 180.90 for the employees who signed me up, for which he told me it would be 85.00. The second charge is 74.95. The insurance was put on the second unit I have never used. I told the manager this is BS, so of course, they will not honor the price of 85.00 a month, which is what their employee gave me. I am being charged 180.00 for a unit that I didn't know was that price. At no time did the employee tell me it was 180.00 if he had, and I would have never taken the unit at that price. SO NOW BECAUSE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES MISTAKE I HAVE TO TAKE TIME THIS WEEKEND AND MOVE TO A SMALLER UNIT. I DO NOT THINK ITS RIGHT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES MISTAKE. I HAVE TWO CHARGES CONING OUT OF MY BANK. I AM BEING INCONVENIENT BY THEIR ERROR BUT I HAVE TO CHANGE UNITS FOR THEIR MISTAKE. I AM ALSO BEING TOLD SO I DONT GET CHARED AT T HE 180. I HAVE TO MOVE THIS WEEKEND. SO TELL ME WHERE IS U-HAUL MAKING IT RIGHT WHO THINK THAT UHAUL SHOULD HONOR THE PRICE THE EMPLOYEE GAVE AND IT WAS HIS MISTAKE. IF THIS HOW U-HAUL TREATS CUSTOMERS THEN I AM DONE, I WILL NEVER DO STROAGE OR USE ONE OF THEIR TRUCKS AGAIN. I WILL NEXT TIME USE POD or ANOTHER MOVING AND STROAGE COMPANY

Great staff. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Note, I didn't see any units you can pull your vehicle up to. As far as I know, you have to park in the lot and enter the building to access units.

Had no problem getting a truck here and moving a few weeks ago. The only situation was, that the 10' truck doesn't have a ramp on the tail end. So that made it a little harder to move. So if you need a ramp get a 12' or bigger. The dollies and handtruck were only $8 and $12 to rent for the day, and its not too expensive depending on how far your moving because they charge per mile driven.

I guess my biggest thing is the elevator being the only way to the second floor. The elevator inspection certificate has been expired for almost a year now... and there's always fluid leaking on the doors. Super sketchy

I did tons of research on storage units in the area. This is absolutely the best and for such a great price! I would have expected to pay much more! It feels super secure and love the after hours access, it's a huge help for me when I fly in a bit late. Def recommend. Also temp controlled! Huge plus!

Like to give praise where praise is due. . .this place has a long way to go for that. Been there 2 time by force as trailers were not available at my usual Uhaul. First visit was a long line wait. . . .Not sure of the right word to describe his work speed..... . .perhaps sauntering...no wait, something slower....if a sloth with bad feet were to saunter from the desk to the printer to get the invoice while looking disgusted to be bothered by my presence. Oakland roads uhaul was awesome....in and out every time. A standar I had come to expect. Next visit I was greeted with a lecture.. . .I was 35 minutes late to pick up my trailer and ran the risk of a cancellation for my delay..... That was the 30 minutes I waited in line for help....... The rudeness went on from there. All the way through the point where I drove off. On drop off, the place was chaos.....people blocking return lanes while 4 staff watched the . . . .watching customers load there stuff just to get them out of the way. As a Manager myself, these issues are clearly top down....little or no training, over worked, underpaid, understaffed people who could care less about being there. There for the check and shrug off customer issues because they are powerless. Stick to storage.....fixing a lock may still be taxing for you but at least it limits the bad rap you give uhaul for crap service, the healthy doses of attitude and an overall "I don't give a flying F%&$ about you" attitude.
