The lab tech took my labs even though I had just eaten. I haven't had labs done in years and was not informed to fast prior to testing. The results ended up in non-renewal of an insurance policy even though my LDL levels came back invalid. Be aware one person making a mistake can have huge consequences.

I had a medical exam for insurance purposes and had a pretty good experience. The medical technician was organized and professional and explained things clearly. In my case the blood draw was easy and trouble free. You just kind of expect a doctor or nurse on a full physical, but otherwise it was easy and comfortable.

I can't believe how stupid the people here are! That lady didn't check the name before drawing blood! It was only after the blood was drawn that I found out the names on three of the vials weren't mine.
She checked my papers several times before drawing blood, repeatedly muttering "okay, okay" to herself. It took her a long time to find a vein, and she seemed completely inexperienced. I was worried that things wouldn't go smoothly just by looking at her, and sure enough, they didn't!
If your office has a supervisor, please investigate whether she is even qualified to work here! She didn't even know she needed to check the name on the vial before drawing blood. Isn't that the most basic thing?

A testing company sent us here. We chose to go to the headquarters because we thought the phlebotomists would have more equipment than the mobile phlebotomists and would be better than coming to to the house. We were so wrong. We got the most inexperienced phlebotomist who did not listen that this was going to be a very difficult phlebotomy with multiple failures in the past. She tried 8 times, missing, redirecting, reinserting the needle before I stopped it. It was an inexperienced person trying to hang a picture and no knowing where the stud is and they just keep poking random holes in the wall until they hit something. I think they need more experience and training or another field of practice not dealing with patients who arms are not drywall to poke again and again with no clue where they are going by trial and error. This was hands down the worst stab, miss, redirect experience had in the past 50 years here in the bay area including 3 people trying 5 times in the ER dehydrated. This was calm, they kept running out of the room to get materials they forgot to bring, and had no coban pressure wrap for patients on anticoagulants - the worst, worst, worst, worst, worst. There was one good phlebotomist (we went once before ), but this last experience was like they completely destroyed our opinion of this company and who they hire as phlebotomists -not trained, unsupervised, unprepared, no planning or forethought, too cavalier, can't tell a difficult patient from an 18 year old healthy person, no clinical judgment, not enough experience still needs supervision or to change to an office job, apaetic not excited about job, not paying attention - instead of striving to poke and get blood with one first insertion, they try over and over again with random pokes marching up the arm. There are career phlebotomists who still are mid career and take time to make the first poke count, this person had no concept and poked again and again and again with no clue what they were doing - so unbelieveable - is there malpractice for phlebotomy? I can't express how shocked and dismayed I am and I've been to so many hospitals over the years throughout the country and this was the worst, worst, worst in my own area so sad... If you don't trust them get out fast before they poke you repeatedly with no success and would have kept going except I stopped them and left. Worst, craziest, most unbelieveably terrible health care experienced I've ever experienced or witnessed first hand in my life so far.

Staff was great . Took appointment online . Was late in reaching there but there was just one more person in queue.
