Custom orders are a sh*t show. Wasted two weeks waiting for a quote that never came, even after numerous calls and confirmations that 'the quote will be emailed today'. Renn was the person 'handling' this. I ended up ordering from another place cause this is a dead end.

No frills, and limited choices, but carries the same stuff as the other big box home stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s. It is actually kind of nice; they have what you need, but not 80+ different varieties.

I was looking for a patio door and they had a couple different ones in stock. The warehouse was well kept and staff very helpful. I was being helped by Dejhunea she was very friendly, professional, and attentive through the whole process of my door purchase.

Price looks good but does not have online ordering system, hard to tell what’s in-stock

Broad range of serious construction and home improvement supplies with a particularly well stocked drive through lumber yard, much better grade of wood than the usual big box stores

On some items they provide cheaper deals but there is a catch!! Their staff are not well trained and you have to wait hours, really hours sometimes for simple paperworks like an inventory check, also they tried to charge me twice for same order, second time was when picking up the last portion of the order that they didn’t have in store, and they forgot that they already charged me once!!!So overall be aware.

I have placed an order in August, and the delivery has been rescheduled for 6 times. The store doesn't really follow up with the vendor. I had to reschedule my contractor everytime, and it caused big problems. Now it has been over 2 months and they say only some part of the order have been delivered with no information for what happened to the rest of the order or when it will really be delivered. They told me it would be delivered in 10 days when I purchased the items.

I needed two gable vents the next day---and they had them! Jaz put my name on them and left them for me at the register. She was incredibly nice and went out of her way to help!! THANK YOU JAZ!! She should be given a raise and get the super service award. BTW - This place is open from 5:30 AM - 9:00 PM--Can't beat those hours!!!

I went to a contractors warehouse in my area to purchase a specific door. My local contractors warehouse didn't have it in stock but said the Santa Clara location had (3) in stock. So I called the Santa Clara location to confirm that they did in fact have (3) in stock because I have been burned by contractors warehouse in the past when I don't ask them to do a physical check. So I speak to PJ at the Santa Clara location. I give him the SKU number, and he asked if I can hold so he can check if they are in stock. I respond, "Of course, I appreciate that!" 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes go by.... and I'm still on hold waiting for PJ. So I decide to call back. This time Chris answers. "Hey Chris, I've been on hold for 30 minutes waiting for PJ to check to see if you have some doors that I need but, I think PJ forgot about me." Chris responds, "He's not here at the desk, so I'm sure he's still looking for your item." I responded, "If you can confirm that he is looking for it, I'll continue to wait, but 30 minutes is a long time." Chris answers, "I'm sure he is, I'll place you back on hold." 10 more minutes go by, and I think 40 minutes of waiting on hold for an item check is a bit unreasonable, so I called back. I get Chris again. "Chris, I've been on hold for a total of 40 minutes. I honestly think PJ forgot about me. Is he or is he not checking on my item." Chris responds, "I assume he is sir. We're a bit short staffed today and he's probably doing 1000 things." Me: "I get that, but 40 minutes on hold doesn't feel like good customer service." Just then Chris sees PJ and calls to him while I'm on the line. "PJ, the customer on hold is asking about the doors." PJ then responds, "What doors?" ME: "Chris, this is unacceptable. I told you I thought PJ forgot about me, so I've been on hold for nothing. Can I speak to a manager please?" Chris: "PJ is the manager." ME: "If this is the level of customer service your managers give, that is extremely disappointing. I guess you guys can't help me. Thanks anyways!" Overall this seems to be a problem company wide throughout the Contractor's Warehouse chain. I've driven an hour in one direction to pick up the specific doors I have been trying to purchase after customer service had done an item check, only to find out, they were mistaken. Their customer service does not follow through with there promises, like calling you back. I've had managers take down my information, pretending they will follow up... and NOTHING. There doesn't seem to be any accountability for their poor customer service. I can't say that I will never shop there again because the sad truth is, there are only a hand full of places to purchase certain items and contractors warehouse is one of them. Just don't expect great customer service and if they feed you bad information just know, that's what they do.

It is big and many selections on a certain things like doors, windows, sinks, molding, flooring, and some others stuffs. It doesn't have many things like at Home Depot or Lowe's. Not many people work here so you have to wait little long for help.

Was impressed by the quality selection at contractors' wear-house. Lots of options for much of you home project needs, DIY, interior design and exterior design. Prices are reasonable and at least 1/3 cheaper than Home Depot. Staff help with loading heavy items and which is helpful. Custom orders are also available for doors, windows, sliders, and counters

Is a rough sales experience. The product is good. But the process of buying things could use some consultants. Sales velocity is severely limited by archaic sales methods. Also some service oriented folks could learn by visiting a Costco now and then. Love their product but probably would go more for even Lowe's to get product within reasonable time.

Service desk clerk ignored me standing there for 10 minutes, then was not able to help with a custom window order. That requires someone else who was not there.

Placed order over 2 weeks ago. Was told ETA available in 4 days. Spent over 1 hour on hold and bouncing around from employee to employee to be told they don't have ETA. Sh*t show.

Less selection than Home Depot and even less service than Home Depot. Waste of time
