I encountered the “Mean Girls Duo: The Clueless Edition” at the Hertz office today. Judging from the other reviews, these two might actually be the most famous employees at the branch — though not for reasons any company would brag about.
One of them insists she can never “hear you well,” despite wearing a headset in one ear — a headset that apparently works only for her benefit, not the customer’s. You make an appointment, show up on time expecting a reserved car, and the answer you get is: “We don’t have it, come back tomorrow.” Strangely, the person right in front of us — who had no reservation at all — magically got a car on the spot. Truly impressive logistics.
Both representatives specialize in interrupting, sighing, and getting frustrated whenever they don’t know the answer (which is often). My favorite moment was when one of them snapped, “Are you questioning me?!” — a line delivered with all the authority of a bitter middle-school teacher who’s used to silencing kids, not serving paying customers.
Honestly, it felt less like Hertz and more like being heckled in a street market. And judging from other reviews, this isn’t a one-off performance — it’s their signature act.
By the way, I wish I’d taken a picture of this legendary duo, but no worries — another reviewer already did (see Dee Jae’s review below). You can even spot the famous one-ear headphone.
Reading through other reviews, it’s clear these two have become local celebrities. The real mystery is why Hertz hasn’t written them off the cast list yet (??).

Don’t waste your time waiting for a car. They will never have your car. Either go to the airport location or try Enterprise.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this rental car company due to their unprofessional customer service. From the start, the staff (Roa) and the manager showed little interest in helping and seemed more focused on rushing through the process than answering questions or providing clear information. When I raised concerns about the condition of the vehicle, my questions were brushed off and met with dismissive or even rude responses. We were told not to take photos of the vehicle until she (the manager) was done. Who does that?
Communication was poor throughout, with inconsistent information given about fees, insurance, and return policies. Instead of trying to resolve issues, the representatives came across as impatient and unwilling to listen, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.
Renting a car should be a straightforward process, but the lack of professionalism here turned it into a stressful experience. Based on the service I received, I cannot recommend this company and would strongly suggest others look elsewhere for reliable and respectful customer care.
Felt bad for the other customers that had worse experience during my first and last visit.

I had really bad experience with the manager of this location , he was so rude first on the phone and denied giving ride back to collision center where I needed to pick up the car. After he left the other lady Raoua wa so nice and helpful and she went out of way and gave ride to me even though it was approaching 5 pm. She should be promoted to manager of that place.

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had when renting a vehicle. What they told me when I scheduled was not true when I went to pick the car up including an additional $350 in fees and no pick up ride like promised when I scheduled the car. I asked them to honor what was originally told to me by their rep and they said they’re not responsible for what their customer service representatives say (ummmm, what?!). They also have no drop off option after 5p M-F or on the weekends but will charge you the extra days even though you’re able to drop off sooner, they just won’t allow you to.
They have many low reviews over the last few months and the company responds thanking people for their feedback but clearly they’re not implementing any changes as the customer service and reviews continue to be subpar and unprofessional.

I decided to try this location, due to the convenience, despite the reviews. Unfortunately it was a disaster. The lady on the phone said they have no car, despite my booking. Vacation ruined.

Had a terrible experience… the desk person was blatantly racist saying things like “I don’t understand your English or your accent, you people have such thick accents” I am Indian born and brought up here and I don’t have any accent… this white girl needs to get fired ASAP!

Good place to rent cars if you do uber driving. Staff were helpful to me I would rent from them again if I was able to do uber. I got my uber account deactivated for no reason. Recommend if you drive for uber.

Very bad service, online booking is meaningless, you will have to call and check again. After trying to call them countless times, if you get lucky your call might be picked up. And even then they will say they don’t have a reservation by your name, despite booking it on the website. Once they find a reservation they will say you booked it today itself, even though you booked it 2 days ago. It’s like the customer care will put countless hurdles for you just to make you go away, and even somehow you cross all of them there is still no guarantee that you will get the rental, they will someway or the other try to convince you to go the Airport office. In all my years of interaction with service based companies I have never seen so much disregard for the customer. Absolutely horrible!!!!

I came in for a Uber rental. The lady that assisted me spoke to me like she thought that I was going to give her trouble (nothing about me indicated that I was there to start an issue nor did I walk in with an attitude). I ignored it and proceeded on with getting the rental. My onboarding has been a logistical issue with me having to physically go to an onboarding office. The lady told me that I needed to reach out to Uber because I basically had not been approved by Uber to get the rental. Cool. I step outside and call them (their office is really small) and they let me know that my driver background came back but they were still waiting on the criminal portion. Again, with the technical issues I had been having with the app and my onboarding, there are things I cannot see/access and I hadn’t been emailed about. I went back inside the building and informed the lady what was told to me. Her tone was different, not as harsh and she let me know that I should receive an email when it’s finished and to reschedule my appointment within 24 hours of getting the email. Cool, no problem! The problem came in when the fair skinned man with thick eyebrows that was sitting not too far behind the lady I was speaking with. He started making facial expressions and gestures as I was speaking that fall under the category of micro-aggressions. I did not take the bait, but I did notice it. I gave this place 2 stars because the cars did look nice and clean and the lady did change her tone. I will be back because I know that I don’t have a criminal record. I hope that I can have a better review to write/update.

The Uber/Hertz representative is awful! Her attitude is terrible and she WILL NOT go the extra mile! Be forewarned.
