I stopped by MAC tonight around 5 PM to do some holiday shopping and pick up a few things for myself. The store was slow and practically empty when I arrived. Despite that, the employee working did not acknowledge me or offer any assistance. She appeared visibly upset, slamming drawers and avoiding eye contact.
When I finally asked for help, she didn’t look up at all and responded with, “What’s your question?” in a rude and dismissive tone. The interaction was extremely unprofessional and left me with a very negative impression of the store. I understand everyone can have off days, but no customer—especially in a retail environment—should be treated that way.

I walked in into the store today and nobody even lifted their head to help, finally one person walked up to me while singing and showed me some colors while he was helping someone else at the moment, the other person looking extremely bored came up with absolutely no interest to help, I've never seen such a bad customer service

Incredibly rude employees. There were two employees working and I was in the store alone. Then, a mother with a group of young girls came in and were immediately helped right away by BOTH employees. While I was trying to get the attention of one of them to help get a makeup product I was ignored. I decided just to wait for one of them to be available but both employees kept helping the other group. I finally asked one of them who didn't seem to be doing anything but just following the others around and I was blatantly ignored and she looked at me and walked right by me! So rude, better off going to an Ulta for Mac products.

Employee put the wrong items in my bag(they put cheaper version of the item I purchased), so I had to go back in to get the correct items, and she was so rude and didn’t say a word not even a single sorry. Poor customer service

There is an employee that did my make up named “Mahsa”, this is someone else they assigned to me different from the person that told me on the phone saying she was the one I had the appointment with (a completely different name).
So I went in wanting preferred colors & a certain eyeliner done. Also, I had specifically indicated I did not want a caked thick foundation look. Well, at the end I walked out attending my function with my makeup done by this employee “Mahsa” with thick cacked foundation, eyeliner I did not want & colors that didn’t fit my eyes even a cheek color that was so dark. She was very firm on her tone for me to look down to the side etc when applying my make up. Not in a pleasant tone. Has no customer service experience. MAC should make it an employee policy that employees applying make should use mints in their mouths when they are very close to a customer since she had a foul breath I had to smell for almost 1 hr.
I decided not to complain because I understand you have to purchase a certain amount which I did. Plus, I was running late to my function.
* I’ve been a MAC customer for many, many years to have this experience that in previous make up applications I’ve done were perfect compared to this horrible experience! My honest close friends & family saying at my function my makeup was so obviously done poorly & didn’t fit or match me!
Such bad memories I have to always look at in pictures of me looking so different like it’s not me!!

Rude as hell employees. Doesn't help at all and when you ask a simple question they can't be bothered to answer like a decent person. Very dismissive. All they do is gossip in the store. The only thing the chubby girl and the very short girl lacked is an eyeroll. Turns their back on you and looks at you rudely like you're bothering them. Do yourself a favor and go to Mac Macy's or Nordstrom instead. Both employees on June 29, 2025 have trashy attitude. Honestly so embarrassing for people like them to represent Mac. Walmart employees have better customer service.

They open their store late without any rush of being late. Been waiting for 20 minutes and the girl inside stared and left.

Really disappointed in the customer service. I went in looking for new makeup. I asked if a women worked there and this women got this look of annoyance and said “yeah that’s why I greated you obviously” I don’t understand why it was so difficult to be kind and simply say yes. I felt so awkward after that and left.
She has dark hair and wears a black headband.

Poor customer service and overall attitude by the employee that worked the evening of 1/11/25. I went to buy lipstick and lip liner and left shocked and empty handed by how rude of an interaction I had with the store employee. I don't know if she was having a bad night, but totally uncalled for. There are a million lip liners and lipsticks out there, so I'm good on Mac.

I would like to write a good review for makeup artists Anthony and store manager Chanel. Unlike many other MAC artists who always has a pissed off , arrogant attitude, on the contrary, Anthony and Chanel are very friendly and attentive . I will definitely look for them next time when I shop at this store .

The girls work there are lazy and rude. They were on the phone when customers are in the store. I had to go to the cashier counter to ask for help and they didn't want to answer questions. They wanted to be left alone so they can play on their phones. MAC should hire better employees. Hope the company read customers' reviews.
