I have been a customer for over 25 years. However in the past few years the quality has drastically decreased. Their gems seem to fall out easily. My husband bought me a beautiful opal flip flop sandal. It was one piece, blue and beautiful. I trusted this company and had the piece of the pendant that holds the chain repaired. I left my pendant in March of 2021. It took me a lot of fighting to even get it returned. I finally got it back in August and they took the opal and gave me 4 pieces of gems for my pendant. I was devastated! I called the company and no one would do anything. It was painful for me because it had been such a special gift. A couple of weeks ago, one of the gems fell out. I also have a palm tree pendant and the gem fell out. My mother has had the same problem. The things I bought in the 2000s have held their quality. So sad. It used to be such a reputable company with excellent customer service. Don't waste your money. I don't even want to give them one star.

Do NOT buy anything from this business because they will not stand by their warranty. Don't walk, but run from doing any business with this company. It's a scam!

Had a great experience here! I've been shopping for a gold bracelet and Kathe K. helped me out with finding & choosing the bracelet that I want. She answered my questions everything from style, durability, and sizing. She was not pushy about it and provided a relaxed yet very informative visit for me. And because of that I will definitely be purchasing from Na Hoku.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Got my husband's WEDDING RING and the DIAMOND BROKE 2 WEEKS AFTER OUR WEDDING. Got a new one in 8 WEEKS. Said they had to send it to Hawaii to get it "checked out." And then got another one, the same ring type, just for it to BREAK AGAIN IN A MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!Mind you my husband doesn't do any heavy labor he's a martial arts instructor for crying out loud. Still waiting back it's been 7 weeks in total and haven't heard back yet.Hoping to get a full refund because having two wedding rings break in the matter of months in insane along with a new ring. VERY disappointed and disgusted with how this has been going

I had an exceptional experience with this store.We found the customer care to be as good as it could possibly be. We were helped by both Desirae and Kathe while searching for the perfect anniversary gift. Our decision was difficult as this store has a great selection of very unique and beautiful jewelry. The thing that stands out the most to us is that our happiness was their main concern.If you are in search of something special in a caring atmosphere, I would recommend that you check them out.

Kathe Kaaha created another amazing Na Hoku experience! I brought my office manager here to celebrate 20 years together and Kathe let us take our time, answered all of our questions and was extremely personable. This was the fifth time I've purchased from Na Hoku, unlike clothes, jewelry always fits and never goes out of style! Treat yourself!

This place has ruined our anniversary with a promise to deliver jewelry (signed contract / receipt & have spoken twice now to associate/salesmen in the store since $pending the money and paying in full!) in 8-10 weeks. With several weeks overdue, we've missed our special occasion and are sorely disappointed. We want to support local, we want to support a'ina, we want to keep money in the State of Hawaii, we want to promote Hawaiian designers and artists.... but this company has lost our trust completely. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO IS VISITING. I find it important to mention a few other points - our salesperson (N***I) that we've been working with ensured us that she was 'concerned and worried' about the timing. She promised us that she emailed headquarters. She also said to give her one additional week and that she would call us back - we are past that week and are stuck empty handed again. We already paid in-full for two solid gold and koa wedding bands/rings - ONE OF WHICH WAS ALREADY IN THE STORE COMPLETED BUT HAD TO BE SENT OUT, the other was to be color-matched. We don't understand the delay of over 3 months for one simply designed ring! Save yourself the headache, time, money, and disappointment - support local but NOT NA HOKU.

It seems like a common theme with Na Hoku... they say they offer a lifetime warranty, but how many people ACTUALLY get to use that warranty. I haven't seen one review here where the repair was approved under warranty. The same is true for my experience. Purchased a mother of pearl inlay plumeria pendant in 9/2017 and on 7/1/21 one of the inlay petals fell out and I was told it was my fault. According to the saleswoman at the Pleasanton store, I wasn't supposed to get it wet, I never took it off, because water caused the adhesive used to fail. ????!!!!! Are you kidding me? Small claims court here I come! The warranty is a scam to get you hooked but they won't honor it. Subpar workmanship and deceptive advertising. The pendant was so beautiful and I loved it, but it fell apart in a few years. Definitely not worth the money. DON'T SHOP AT NA HOKU!

I love Na Hoku's jewelry and have purchased multiple pieces for my lovely bride. In 2014, while visiting Maui, we purchased one of their newest designs "The Wave" pendant. During the past 7 years, my wife has worn this perhaps 15-20x. In late 2020, we noticed that several pieces of opal had fallen out of the pendant. We visited our Dallas Na Hoku store and arranged to have the pendant returned for warranty repair on Dec 22, 2020 under their lifetime warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. AFTER 12 WEEKS, I was advised that the pendant was not covered under warranty, despite no abuse of the pendant. Further, the repair would take an additional 10-14 weeks. I understand that COVID has affected Hawaii and Na Hoku's suppliers, however, this has been a terrible customer service experience. As a lifetime customer purchasing jewelry when we travel, I am deeply disappointed with this factory response. I do appreciate the personal efforts of Brian, the Dallas Store manager.

Great online order customer service. I bought a beautiful sterling silver hibiscus bangle bracelet. The bracelet came from the Na Hoku store in Stevens Creek. I got the bracelet 2 days after I ordered it. It is definitely my new daily wear bracelet. Looks fantastic and definitely worth the price!?
