Lousy, lousy, lousy. I agree with the other reviews, these guys are lazy, rude, and at the end of the day, completely unreliable. As one of the other reviewers said, don't give these guys your business, they don't deserve it.

Purchased a 3K umbrella from Norcal Patio last month and they delivered the floor model that they had on display in the large pieces. They also "forgot" to deliver the power cord for the lights. Once we assembled it the lights did not work, with some shaking they turned on. Now they do not work at all (30 days later). When we called them for assistance they stated "we will ask the manufaturer to call you for help" what? Really - no customer service after the purchase and super shady business practices. Our research found the same umbrella at equal to or less cost from on-line vendors. Highly recommend you buy from online vs. here!

I'm not sure why they only have 2.5 stars. I had such a good experience purchasing a bbq island from them, and I'd totally recommend them to anyone who's looking for patio furniture and BBQ stuff. It's a huge showroom and they have tons of items for you to buy off the floor. They also have options for custom orders, but the lead time is quite long (8-10 weeks for a custom island). I decided to buy the floor display since I liked the look of it, and I have zero patience. =D Mike was friendly, helpful, patient, and knowledgeable; he explained things very clearly, so I knew exactly what I was buying. He was never pushy and I really appreciate that in a salesperson. I can't speak about the furniture prices, but for the bbq islands, they were a fair price in comparison to online websites like wayfair, bbqguys, overstock, etc. -- especially for the quality! I will say that there weren't a ton of options for bbq islands, but the one I chose was exactly what I was looking for, so I can't complain. 10/10 would recommend you to support this local shop!

These guys are great! Have a great selection of patio furniture and BBQ stuff. Good quality items. I've had my patio furniture over 9 years, granted I cover it, but looks as good as new. Their prices are good and comparable to some online deals. I also only get my patio furniture covers there cause their the best. Their covers are a little pricey but last 4-5 years not like other brands which last only a year. Which saves money and time in the long run. And why I no longer waste my time with covers from Amazon. Definitely give this place a look if your looking for furniture, patio or bbq stuff.

I was looking for a Yoder YS 640 S pellet smoker. I wanted to see one in person. My wife and I were greeted at Norcal Patio Furniture and BBQ by Mike, one of the owners. Mike was gracious, funny and willing to show us the Yoder grill and also answer our questions. Once I saw the floor model and heard Mike point out it's great features and the quality of its USA build, I was sold. Since I was willing to pay cash Mike offered a more competitive price by avoiding the outrageous merchant credit card fees. We scheduled a delivery date and time for a week later. The delivery was on time as promised. This is when I met Tom, Mike's brother and co-owner. Tom was friendly and polite. He had his assistant place the grill exactly where I requested. These guys are true to their word, no hassles and they offer fair priced high quality products. My wife and I were treated kindly and respectfully by these business owners. We appreciate their competitive price savings and the free bag of wood pellets to get my grill/smoking started. I'll be visiting the store again soon to pickup some BBQ cooking accessories from their large selection of rubs, spices, and sauces.

I wanted to get a new pellet smoker and decided that I wanted to get a new Yoder smoker. There are two dealers in the Bay Area that sell these, but NorCal Patio Furniture and BBQ is the only dealer that actually has them in stock in the Bay Area. All of the stores, including the online ones, pretty much sell the Yoders for the same prices once you factor in freight and delivery.I bought my Yoder smoker from NorCal Patio Furniture and BBQ and they delivered it to my house in a few days in the time window that we agreed on. There was no sales pressure. When I asked about accessories, they actually told me that they have almost everything in stock and that I could just buy the accessories as I wanted or needed them.If that was it, it would have already been a pretty good experience.But when I started up my Yoder for the first time, I noticed that the controller wasn't reading the right temperature. I called Mike at NorCal Patio and he asked me to check with Yoder to see if there was an easy fix. I checked with the manufacturer and they told me that the controller or temp probe was probably bad so I called Mike again and he told me that they would swap the entire smoker out the next day.Tom came by the next day, took back the defective smoker and brought out a new one. Then he helped set up the new one and we ran it for half an hour to make sure it was working correctly. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

Broad selection of outdoor furniture, but customer service was poor and there was a real creepy aspect when we visited. We were looking for a new outdoor couch and came here because our friends had gotten a nice couch from here. When we first entered the staff didn't seem interested in talking to us, and it wasn't until we started asking about one of their more expensive offerings that they realized that it might be a good idea to give us some assistance. But then the guy helping us kept on eyeing my daughter and was asking all sorts of personal questions about her, where she went to school, where we lived, etc. We tried to be evasive as possible and then I told our kids that we were done and took our leave of the place. Needless to say, we bought our couch elsewhere.

We finally got our table set. 3.5months past the promised date. Yes, I grant that the delays were not in their control. But this one star is a reflection of their customer service during that period - esp since I was more than patient. 1) No proactive notice about delay to begin with 2) Unprofessional responses and follow through to all my calls asking about an update. (Mostly Tom, Mike was more professional and followed through 1 time) 3) When the table set finally arrived, we specifically scheduled a delivery window, pushing back on their original suggested time due to a prior scheduled appointment -- making it very clear that time would not work. Guess what time they showed up to deliver? Yup - the time we said would not work. 4) They ordered / delivered the wrong seat cushions from what we ordered, despite my confirming repeatedly. Based on my experience, I would *LOOK* here and buy elsewhere. Not worth the annoyance of dealing with a place who clearly doesn't care about customer service.

Horrible customer service!!! Avoid at all cost. They actually don’t want you to come there. We came there to purchase outdoor sofa with table, and we were actually ready to go ahead and purchase it. We were greeted by a pushy old aged salesman, who in the whole 15 minutes we were there, shadowed us and asked 5 times if we had any questions. After that I asked him politely to stop asking me if I have any questions, and if I had any, I would let him know. This is when he said that if I don’t like that then he can ask me to leave the store!!! He got angry saying that this is what customer service is about, and since I didn’t appreciate his presence around us at all times, he showed us the door.Although their furniture is pretty nice, I would recommend to avoid that place. Their poor attitude before you even make the purchase is a direct reflection on how much you will suffer after you do buy something there. We left the store and never coming back there!
