My second experience at this salon isn’t something I’d wish on anyone. I personally feel like this salon is focused on getting their money rather than providing the service that their client wants. I will say before talking about my bad experience, I will talk about my good experience here. I’ve been here one time before and they did my French tips on my toes and my nails. It came out very nice and It lasted long. I had no issues. My second time going here, both my big toe nails had been broken so I asked for acrylic on both of them + my pinky toes. Plain white, really simple. A woman did them and they were what I wanted.Until we got to doing my nails..I wanted to try gel-x because they say it’s healthier for your nails than acrylic. When we began the process of doing my nails, I had mentioned how I wanted a thin French tip. I was indecisive on what shape I wanted, i’ll be honest about that (almond or square). Then she told me they only had almond so we went with that. She started and put a few of my nails on crooked and at that point, I just knew they weren’t going to turn out well. If my nail is crooked that means that she’s going to file more off the sides to make the french tip aligned in the middle. That also makes the mail unappealing to me because it’s too narrow. I mention how I don’t like how they’re turning out and she seems frustrated with me that I asked her to take it off. Mind you, we did not get far in the process, she was only working on my left hand. While she’s working she explained how I cannot have a thin French tip line because my nail will show through. I know that’s not true because if you put a base of an acrylic like a nude, then you won’t be able to see through my nail.Overall, it just became a very frustrating experience because I feel like white toes and french tips is a really simple ask. The owner came out to talk to me to try to resolve the issue and she still couldn’t give me the results I wanted. After the first woman, the owner tried to do my nails. My nails we’re basically dark pink and sheer with a big french tip, just not at all what I wanted. If you’re like me, it’s important that you like what you pay for. I was very respectful, I kept trying to explain more in depth of what I wanted and ask them questions to get the results I wanted.A few days later, my pinky toe popped off. I contacted the owner via text to get it resolved. She mentioned how I could come back to get it fixed for free but I do not live in Santa Clara so I just took the L on that and got it fixed elsewhere. A literal day later both my big toes chip and break off. Af this point i’m just annoyed because I paid almost $90 for a pedicure to only last me maybe 3 full days. When I contacted the owner again expressing how it’s ridiculous that it didn’t last and for a partial refund she blocked me from messaging her.I genuinely feel like they just didn’t care after I started vocalizing that what they were doing wasn’t what I wanted. I didn’t appreciate how I was treated here at all. I was solely trying to get work I liked. I wasn’t rude, I even offered to tip the nail tech for the work she has done on my fingernails anyway. I understand it’s a craft and it takes time. I was in no way trying to be difficult but like I said, I would like to pay for what I like. I left with just my toes done from this salon.I went across the street to Nail Perfection and they did my nails exactly how I wanted, no problem. I would highly recommend going there over this place, they’re super friendly and it’s a cute environment.

I’ve been coming here since about 2019 now. I’ve had services with Louie, Sara and Kim. Sara is the only person I trust to do an amazing pedicure, every time. Kim also recently did mine and my moms pedicures, and she also did an amazing job and has such a welcoming and kind personality as well. Louie’s mom did my moms eyebrow waxing today and even she did a great job! We’re so thankful to have wonderful services every time and by people with good hearts. We will be forever customers. All of these ladies truly work hard and takes professionalism seriously.

Got a gel pedicure and basic manicure done here. It was my first time at this place. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, but there was nobody at the reception. I kept looking for help and couldn't catch anybody's attention for a while. After that I was directed to a lounging chair to soak my feet. This went on for a good 25 minutes! It was just plain water, not with fragrance salts or anything. My feet got cold and wrinkly, when finally someone came to get started on the pedicure. The service itself was good and the staff worked sincerely and knows her craft, but mostly there is no welcoming or pleasant vibe unless you actually know them. The tools used appeared dirty and the service personnel's nails did not look like they were neatly maintained. When you go in for that very service it doesn't give a good feeling. The white lights were also very harsh and no drink, etc. was offered. Overall it was hard to relax and unwind.

I did not enjoy my experience or the product after my appointment. I booked over the phone explaining it my first time getting lashes. The appointment was supposed to be for a hour but I was done in 30 mins. Even knowing I’ve never gotten lashes before, she did not explain the process to me. Just told me to lay down and didn’t say anything to me. Usually I’d be fine with no talking if I knew what to expect but she barley explained anything. I showed her a photo from her Insta explaining I wanted that exact service, classic brown lashes. She gave me black lashes. After she was done she took my friend who she was way more talkative too. And took a photo of my friend lashes and not mine saying she didn’t like how my one eye turned out. So she knew she didn’t do the best job. After a few days my left eye had lost a lot of lashes. Despite me cleaning them twice a day sleeping with a mask and being careful. It was 75$ and a 10 $ tip making it 85$ total. I called today ( 6 days after the appointment) to ask for a refund and offered to show her pictures but they refused. They did offer to re do them or take them off. But i had such a bad time the first time I can’t see her being nicer and more helpful when she’s doing the service for free.I’m sure this was just an off day for her, and I hate writing negative reviews. But after paying 85$ to have my lashes look how it is is really disappointing.Service: Eyelash extensions

The staff was friendly, patient and nice! Didn't like the quality of the products used. My nail polish started chipping in 3 days and I had white residue around my nails when I left. Overall, while the staff is friendly, I wouldn't go back again.

***EYE SWOLLEN SHUT - SENT TO THE ER - LOUIE REFUSED TO REFUND FULL EXPENSES - DO NOT GET LASHES HERE!!! *** Do NOT go to Louie. She is the Lash Tech from HELL. She is the WORST at following direction and all she cares about is taking your money. She gave me shitty lashes and couldn't follow directions even though I sent her a reference photo of what I wanted. I came back to get them removed and she ended up putting so much glue dissolver on my lash line that it seeped INTO my eye and was BURNING. She didn't even use eye pads during the removal! Every lash tech I've gone to always uses eye pads & uses the dissolver sparingly to prevent this from happening. I told her multiple times it hurt really bad and FINALLY she rinses it out. Then proceeds to aggressively pluck the remaining lashes with tweezers, pulling out my natural lashes and irritating the F*CK out of my lids. It was SO bad, my eyes were both crazy swollen and one was swollen shut. I missed work over this, and had to go to the ER. When I reached out to Louie, she said she would either have insurance cover the fees or she would cover them. Her insurance said I had no proof she actually put the dissolver in my eye, so he couldn't pay me. When I called Louie to tell her, she BLOCKED ME! She is the LITERAL WORST and should NEVER be allowed to touch another person's face. She is literally human GARBAGE for treating honest paying customers this way. I feel completely taken advantage of. Not only did I pay her to do a terrible job, but I ended up paying medical fees and lost out on work shifts because of her. She should have her license revoked! Not to mention, she is beyond unprofessional... late to EVERY appointment and is a COMPULSIVE liar. She lied to her insurance agent and said I opened my eyes during the appointment, causing the dissolver to enter my eye. Why would a client who has had many previous lash extension appointments open their eye while harsh chemicals are on their lash line??? This wasn't my first rodeo but it was my first with Louie and needless to say, my LAST. She doesn't know how to take accountability for her actions. Instead of being accommodating and doing right by honest paying customers, she takes advantage and lies her way out of all the fires she starts. I'm truly disgusted by her behavior. She deserves every negative review on here. *see photo of screenshot* Literal proof she says she wants the insurance company to tell her if they are issuing the refund through the claims or her... has she reached out to refund me for this nightmare? NO. All she sent back was $25, after I paid her $175 for a style she did not deliver, which I was willing to look past, until she damaged my eyes! Not to mention my medical bills and missed days at work! Now she keeps giving me the runaround and won't reimburse me, like any decent person would. This woman is completely heartless. UPDATE: This incompetent excuse for a lash tech has now threatened me with a restraining order all because I told her "karma will find you, everything done in the dark will come to light" & "sleep well in your trailer tonight" because I can't IMAGINE how a person who has caused all this havoc can even sleep at night! She's accusing me of "threatening her" and trying to take advantage of her when ALL I WANT is reimbursement for all funds depleted due to this nightmare experience from her! Can you even believe she's victimizing herSELF in a situation where she had a client sent to the ER???? Louie Pham, you are as disgusting as you present yourself during appointments. Rolling out of your trailer, unwashed before appointments. You're a disgrace to the beauty industry. ***see additional screenshots added for reference***
