There are already many one star reviews with the same reason. (Thanks to confirm that I am not a bad reviewer to blame everything before writing a genuine review).As all other said, it was the WORST experiences EVER in my life. U-haul should stop this store to rent trucks if they want to have a positive impression.I rented u-haul at this store and he wanted to sweep the truck to clean.Of course me and my wife did. But this guy picked up the tiny dust from the truck and told me that I didn't sweep it clean. The thing makes it worse is that he makes me and my wife a liar. He tried to emotionally attack us.Before I rented a truck, he frightened me if I don't fuel in full and the next customer discovers it, I will be charged fees. So, after driving 11 miles, I fueled in full that is 2+ gallons, which doesn't make sense no matter how I drive. I told him to charge the fine to the former driver, but he kept saying I am a liar and he cannot trust me.The worst thing is that he tried to keep emotionally attack me.I would NEVER visit this store again because I don't think his attitude deserves to earn an even a penny.

I called to cancel my reservation. The person on the phone was really rude told me to call another location to cancel it for me and hung up on me. I highly don't recommend going to this place.

Worst service I have ever met in my whole life.1. I returned the truck with full fuel, but the representative was insistent on charging us for not refueling. I have to drive the truck to gas station to add another 0.3 gallons of gasoline.2. I swept the trunk very clean, as showed in the following picture, but they still said it's considered dirty and wanted to charged about $25. What makes the whole thing worse is their horrible service and harsh language. They yelled at me and we almost fought!

One star because I cannot give a zero star rating.Try to describe our experience in a non-bias way.We rent a van. When we returned the van, I said we didn't go to the gas station to get a refill of gas because the gas meter shows F. The staff member "ordered" us to add gas otherwise he will charge us additional 30 $ service fee. Super super rude attitude sounds like your drunk high parent will burn your transcript.Then we went to the near gas station try to add "some gas" to this almost spilling gas tank by our understandings. The gas knob forced us to stop as a warning of spill after we tried our best to refill the gas.The second thing is, the staff member points out that we should clean the van. We argued that we have already cleaned the van but he roared "You call this clean?" He "ordered" us to do cleaning by giving us a broom unless he will charge 25 $ service fee. Then we two customers obeyed the order, bent our bodies to do cleaning carefully like cleaning our dishes. By the end of cleaning, the old man staff even said "you guys are CRAZY!!!!".The staff members have their own standards of "clean" and refuse to argue with the customers in an extremely rude way. I would even call this language abuse. Customers are not crazy.For the gas refill, they will order you to add gas to an almost full gas tank. Be careful not to spill gas.I feel like I just paid some money for learning how mean the U-Haul representatives would be.

I rented a U-Haul for a day. It was mostly clean but had some dried leaves on the floor. Before returning it I made sure to clean the floor. When I went to return, the person asked me if I had cleaned it, to which I said yes. He then opened the back of the truck and it was visibly cleaner than when I had picked it up. Mind you that the floor bed is 10 feet in length. He stared at the floor for 10 seconds and then, no joke, picked up one speck of dust, the size of a grain of salt and accused me of lying.

I have moved several times. Instead of trying to scrounge boxes from grocery stores, or using random sizes, I head to U-haul and buy a stack of clean boxes that haven't been weakened by previous moves. This particular U-Haul charges more for boxes, wardrobes, and tape. Significantly more! The father/son combo were working on the day I was in. The son behind the register was quite rude, and impatient, yet the store was empty, and I only asked ONE question. Dad loaded the boxes in my car, he was pleasant and funny! I thought I paid more and received less, but wasn't positive. I had to return for more boxes and then I was certain. The price of their boxes were double the price I paid in Campbell, and the tape was 5 dollars more! I didn't bother to say anything, I was deep into packing by that point. Normally I wouldn't return to an establishment after being treated rudely, but it was close, and time was a factor.

Someone needs to train the guy who answers the phone. They are not good for business. He gave me double A price than what the website said. And when I said that to him he told me to "go to the website then" this uhaul is not getting good business because of him. Very rude. He needs to be fired after seeing all the bad reviews from this guy

The person that said he is the manager of this dealership has no idea how to deal with a customer. I have seen some bad customer service in my life, but this guy is a league of his own.

Rude and unprofessional staff.Also, I had rented U-haul some other place during COVID but no where had asked me to brush the floor with a broom. I saw poor reviews, but went to this place anyway because it was close to me. I should have gone to a different place.This place is more like a jack of all trend than a U-haul.

I have known Chuck at the Santa Clara location for years and have always found him to be very professional and friendly.My wife has a post office box there, and it's within walking distance from my house. Awesome when I need to rent a truck!
