This rating is not regarding the customer service. This is regarding the new limited hours. Opening at 9:30 am instead of 9 am. Closing at 4pm instead of 5pm. Closing on Saturday at 12pm instead of Saturday at 1pm. Do you think we do not notice these things? If a good amount of the time I go there and it is closed but it is during most usual banks usual Business hours do you think it will start to get frustrating and it might be easier to move my money elsewhere where it is more convenient?

This fiasco started, April 26, 2023 when I traveled from Central TX to this branch to conducted my mother's final business affairs. All the documentation was in order on our end, however, due to back office mishaps on Wells Fargo Bank's part they have made it most difficult to complete closing my mother's affairs with their bank. @WellsFargo I don't understand how this is possible, the Branch Manager and the banker I spoke to, managed to screw up how the contents of my mother's safe deposit box was sent to the Wells Fargo Branch in TX. @WellsFargo You people at this Santa Clara, CA location are disgraceful and inept. I will never do business with Wells Fargo Bank, I will tell everyone I know about this experience and how I've been treated while attempting to take care of my mother's final affairs. @WellsFargo Best regards,

Earlynne Bareng is by far one of the best Home Mortgage Consultants that I have worked with. She is extremely focused in making sure that the customer understands the options and works with them very closely. This is my second refinance with Earlynne and she continues to amaze me. The best part - the rate was the most competitive compared to any other bank!! If you are looking for someone who is clear, concise, fair, competent - look no further.

I have worked with many mortgage consultants in the past and Earlynne Bareng is one of the best - I highly recommend her. She is very professional, caring, diligent and most importantly very dependable. She helped me with a new mortgage and was able to get me a very competitive rate and did everything she could to make sure the process went smoothly and that we close on the house successfully. With Covid, I feel like the underwriting process has become extremely onerous across all banks and Earlynne went above and beyond to help make sure it went well including several nights pass midnight to ensure that the underwriter had the correct documents that would meet their requirements. Along with all of the above, she is very responsive and transparent. You can't go wrong with Earlynne. She is simply excellent.

My wife and I worked with Earlynne for processing the mortgage application for our 1st home here in the bay area. She was highly recommend by one of my colleagues, which is why we reached out to her immediately. From day 1, she would work with us closely explaining every step in the mortgage application. She would pick up phone calls and work with us and our realtor any time of the day without slightly hint of hesitation. We really appreciate the time and effort she took to explain the financial aspects of home buying as well as going above and beyond recommending do's and don'ts in the entire process in general. She did a commendable job successful closing the whole application during this Covid-19 pandemic working from home. I highly recommend her.

Earlynne Bareng was by far the most patient and caring home mortgage consultant. She was always there with answers to questions and concerns. As first time home buyers we definitely started this whole process scared and unsure of what to do but here we are at the end of the process with house keys and a new beginning to our lives and none of that would have been possible without the trust and commitment we felt from Earlynne. Would recommend her to anyone without any hesitation whatsoever!! We were expecting a much harder and tedious process but at the end of everything it all went so much smoother then we envisioned it and Wells Fargo was ready for us to close almost 3 days before the set date. None of this would have been possible without Earlynne and her organization and professionalism. Definitely can say that she made the whole process so much more relaxing and made us feel comfortable the whole way.

Our Home Mortgage Consultant Earlynne B. did a tremendous job by providing us with clear instructions, quick responses and diligent effort to meet our needs. She was able to organize the request for documents in an easy to follow way with enough time to supply any information needed. When we did have questions or hesitations with any documents, Earlynne was able to explain it to us. She continued to search for the best rates for us while keeping a realistic budget in mind. Her efforts to ease our first home purchase shows her friendliness and professionalism to her clients.

She works endlessly and won't stop until she helps us got the very best competitive rates. She always make us feel that she had the best interest in mind.Very honest and trustworthy person. She's always available any time we needed to ask a question or when we had any concern and she make sure she is present personally during our closing and signing with the Escrow Company that make us feel at ease and comfortable. Earlynne Bareng is the best in the business. She helped me all through from start to end in my home buying process. When you are out making offers, she can revert back real quick with pre-approval letters (multiple ones if you would like to give a custom limit offer for the home you are offering). I was a first-time home buyer and she helped me as much as she can from start-to-end (Literally, she even came for the final signing at escrow office so she can address any last minute issues with us). She goes over each item with at most clarity so we are clear about the process and where we can optimize based on our specific scenario. As important it is to be able to get professional help, it is equally important to know that you are in safe hands and someone is working meticulously on your side. She attaches herself into the buyer's cause as if it was her own. I had put out an offer without any loan contingency and did face many roadblocks in terms of meeting the promised deadline as per the contract. Earlynne worked really hard co-ordinating the various entangled processes to be able to get every action done so that I was able to close on time. I am really happy to have chosen Earlynne for my home purchase.

Never thought I'd ever give a review at a bank before but I am irritated by how little they care or try to help here. I'm so glad Wells Fargo isn't my main bank institution. I unfortunately have my car loan through this bank and I tried to make a payment through them. I thought everything was ok. I got a letter mail saying that my payment didn't go through because they couldn't located my account number. What the ?.!/!??? I read the number to them. They confirmed it twice. I don't understand. Then I get a letter saying I missed my payment and I have to pay a late fee and of course this goes on my record. I come in asking why this happened. I talked to Tanuka Sarkar and she also had me talk to someone on the phone. If I needed someone to repeat to me what had happened and not give me any actual help, I'd just stay home. Literally I had to repeat myself a few times to the banker. I feel like she didn't understand the issue. The woman on the phone basically just kept telling me that my payment got refunded because it couldn't located my account. Which is what I already knew but the reason why I was there was trying to figure out why it didn't work if the account number entered, originally was correct. I left this place, unresolved and frustrated. They could t even try to offer me any kind of help beside repeating the issue over and over again. Just avoid this bank overall.
