“In 2021, I had the honor of meeting Mrs. Villamayor, The Tax Villa. She helped me navigate the jejune (I looked up synonyms for boring) tax code for new business ventures we took on that year. Although she wasn't well studied in small farming and agriculture, she is a quick and thorough study. Not only did she take me in, with about 1 month remaining before the tax due date, but she was able to justify saving me around $20K in tax payments. She did my personal, small farm, and rental real estate return in that time frame. She is very patient and kind. I normally use Keystone CPA, which has been voted the number 1 real estate CPA in Orange County, for several years, but I've realized that Mrs. Villamayor, for my stage of tax prep needs, provides a very similar service at a fraction of the cost. Plus she responds fairly quickly to texts. I'm very happy with her and am preparing to do a mid year review soon. She also offers booking keeping. I definitely recommend her.”

“My last review was somehow deleted but here is another one- I've been going to Melissa for years now when it comes to tax season. I found her page on Yelp a couple of years ago and everything was done online even before the pandemic started, so it was extremely helpful especially when I was working and going to school at the same time. Two years ago my tax was pretty simple, I was single, going to school, and I did not own any properties. But as I graduated and got older, my tax became more complicated- but her price never Changed, she charged a flat rate and I love it. Now that the pandemic hit, everything has to be done online, it even makes things more perfect since Melissa has had years of experience of doing tax online since she's been doing that for years. She's knowledgeable and responsive. Let's be real here, the statistics class is required in order to graduate from a university yet no one has taught me how to do taxes, nor what's deductible, nor the differences between state and federal taxes. Although there are many online articles about how to do you own taxes or simply to understand what tax really meant, it is still pretty confusing. The last thing I want is to get black listed by the IRS because I did my tax wrong. Would definitely recommend Melissa, thank you so much !”
