I had wonderful experiences with Helmers for both of my children. They attended before, during, and after the pandemic as well as during the campus relocation to North Park.

Getting my daughter out of this toxic environment was the best thing I could have ever done for her. Her Kindergarten teacher was great, but after that it was all down hill. And everything was progressively worse. From the front office, admin and teachers, most were miserable and they tried to make everyday challenging for my daughter. Absolutely no support, and it sickens me that so many children are under the "care" and supervision of these awful people. I appreciated the nurse, she was kind and easy to talk to but I feel like she was the only one.

Ever since I graduated this school is good of their efforts treating their students and their education and it's family friendly too

Loved this school. Really recommend it. I am a former student at this school and I can tell you from personal experience that I've really enjoyed my stay here. From the staff to the teachers it is surely a great community to be in. They even have great programs like fit team(running program), student council(I was the former president and I can tell you that once your child hits 4th grade I suggest that they apply), music programs and many more. Whether your child is applying for any grade, the community will surely welcome you with open hearts. So if you're looking for a well trusted, built, and academically built school, I would suggest Helmers. And I'm not being forced to do this. This is all my opinion and perspective of the school. Thanks for your time to read this

Fantastic school. Ms. Rocha is a highly valued teacher with lots of passion. If you are willing to put in the nessacary work. She will make you one of the best students this school or district has to offer.

I've recently had a racist altercation with a teacher Mrs. Rocha at this school. She disliked my child and treated him as such. We had only been enrolled in this school for 2 weeks when my son first told me that he felt as if this teacher did not like him. It hurts me as a mother to know that my son doesn't feel safe with his own teacher. I wouldn't choose this school if you have any control. I can say that I do adore my daughters teacher Mrs. Yammomto. She's the only amazing this about this school .

My son goes to this school for kindergarten. First day was total chaos. My son wasn't fed lunch. He starved because they only fed him with the snack I packed.
