Thank goodness for these people! Our dog had diarrhea and bloody vomit and we were so worried. Our regular vet could not see her( shameful that your vet for 20 yrs won't fit you in) . We called early in the morning and were able to be seen by 9:15 for an emergency appointment. Yes, it costs more, but, yes, it's with the peace of mind. They gave us all the options for treatment and were not pushing anything on us. Dr Brink was very thorough and reassuring. We wanted X-rays and. Blood work to be sure of any possible issues. Diagnosed with pancreatitis. The entire staff was kind and upbeat which is always nice when you are in state of worry. Couldn't have been more comforting. They called me to check up on her progress at home today, which is also a bonus. Much appreciated. The facility is clean and well organized. Very happy we found this place. It will be our new vet for our dogs.

Do not bring your animal to this place. They do not care, and will string you along until your animal is very sick. We tried to get help and they would not help us. Not informing the next shift of what was going on. When I went to the hospital, the girls are too busy talking to write down notes for shift change. So when they leave, everyone just starts over, leaving your animal in pain and sick. This is not how you treat animals. Why are you open if you can't help people. WRONG!

Thursday 2/3 I heard my cat CRYING in the backroom while getting bloodwork. She came back in the room crying in her carrier so I know it was her. When she first was taken back there, I heard someone ask if she was an evil cat. Why was that language used towards my cat or anyone's for that matter? I felt really uncomfortable and then to hear her cry... which I've never heard her cry ever and she's 8yrs old. Their back room was so loud, I could hear them yelling, laughing, talking loud... all while they had a needle in my cats jugular vein. I went for a pre op appointment for a dental visit that Dr. Bones had recommended but after 2 attempts or me asking for a an estimate and never got. Appointment felt very rushed, I was given any information about the procedure, but as vet tech Gabby said, "I didn't ask for any information ". So cool, I'll take that one but still should have been explained. Anyway, I called my husband after the visit and he felt just as upset as I did. I got home and called. Talked to Lauren the receptionist, she said there wasn't anyone till the next day. But she listened and agreed that she would be upset too. I thanked her for listening. Half an hour later vet tech Gabby called. I thought I was supposed to be called by a manager? How unprofessional for a vet tech to handle a customer service issue and interesting that she took it upon herself to call. If she hadn't had done anything wrong then she would have just let the manager handle it, right? She wouldn't let me get a word in at all which was beyond frustrating because the first thing she should have done was apologize that I was upset. She was arrogant and condescending the whole time. She said that between vet techs "evil cat" is how they determine the cats needs. If you care about animals, evil, shouldn't even be said. She didn't apologize at all. She just kept saying that my cat was, "such a good kitty. So well behaved" . I told her that I wasn't talking about my cats behavior, I was talking about theirs. She repeatedly said my cat wasn't crying, over and over. Seriously?!? I HEARD my cat in the back crying and coming back into the room in her carrier CRYING. I had had enough and said the conversation was over, cancel the appointment and I'm not coming back. Next day, no call from a manager. I tried to call but 3 times in a row I was put immediately on hold and then hung up on. So I blocked my number and called again, got right through! But the first time the Manager, "Charles" was on the phone, hour later he was in a meeting, husband called an he was still in a "meeting". I asked for my cats records so that I can go somewhere else, after going there at least 8yrs, never going back. I read through my cats records and vet tech Gabby wrote about our conversation, which had nothing to do with my cats health so it shouldn't be in there. Her statement was false and completely unprofessional and it was never her responsibility to call back an upset owner. Days later, I'm still wondering what the hell they did to her? Haven't heard anything. They told me to email the manager through their generic email. Which I'm not going to do, because obviously the receptionists use it and they aren't letting me get through to the manager already, so I'm writing it here. Unprofessional, inappropriate, ridiculous and we are never going back there again. Like another Yelper posted, their nice until they do something wrong.

Caring doctors, reasonable prices and overall clean place. They don't present you with a list of 10 different things they recommend you try just to make more money off of you like some vet offices do.

I will start off by saying that I selected a two star review; however, somehow it's giving it a three star review which I did not select. I would be giving them 1 star if I was basing my review on my last experience. However, up until the last one, I actually liked them. My cat passed away just over a month ago. Santa Clarita AH administered the euthanasia and I also paid them to have her cremated. I selected a cute little photo box urn that came With an imprint of my kittys paw in plaster. I spoke with the office lady and gave her VERY VERU CLEAR and specific instructions with regard to my cats paw. You see, my kitty was a ragdoll polydactyl, which means she had extra "fingers". Her paws were SUPER adorable and HUGE. I use to call her my little geisha girl. So it was HUGE important that the imprint include ALL of her "fingers". Well, when I got it back, it was NOT my cats paw. It almost looked like a kittens little paw. I was very upset BUT still CALMLY called SCAH to see if there had been a mixup. Before I even had a chance to finish explaining, the girl on The phone interrupted me and told me that that was not their problem and that I would have to contact the company that cremated my cat. I explain to her that I did not have anything to do with that company and that they are the ones that outsource the cremation to them and such, I believe it would be more appropriate for SCAH to contact them directly. Again she said that it was not their responsibility. I reminded her that they did not complain or say that it wasn't their responsibility when I paid a Santa Clarita Animal Hospital for my cats cremation and paw plaster. Why is it now not their responsibility to find out what happened? I can tell you that during this final exchanged with this girl, I remained calm, Respectful, but stern. She once again cut me off in midsentence and placed me on hold. I remain on hold for over 12 minutes. Finally, a different guy gets on the phone and I have to go through the whole story again. Throw it out he remain dead silent. When I was done explaining, he continue to remain silent. Not a single word. I asked if he was still on the line and he finally responded that he would look into it and call me back. There were no apologies there were no explanations and of course I never heard back from them. I am extremely sad and disappointed considering they had handled the youth nation the bar chocolate lab with grace and professionalism. I expected the same this time. I've lost respect for them. I'm looking for a new vet for my babies

On July the 11th 2021 we brought our small Maltipoo Maggie into your facility for an examination physical. Just wanted to say that the staff was phenomenal. We were treated by Allison and Dr. Bones. Both individuals were exceptional and I want to give them all of the accolades that they both deserve. This is a great facility and will be our go-to from this point moving forward Great staff, very clean. I cannot say enough great things about your facility. Great to know that there are still great animal hospitals still in business.

Unprofessional. Overpriced. The staff is nice until they make a mistake, then they are no help. If your dog has serious health issues this is not the place to bring them.

Dr. Brink was very pleasant. My labrador is nearly 13 years old with painful arthritis in one leg. My goal was to see what I could do to relieve some of her pain and make her more comfortable, and I wanted to avoid expensive tests and procedures given her age. Dr. Brink completely understood that, and she very patiently examined my dog and explained what my options were. She itemized all of the possible tests/procedures/treatment options with their respective costs, and left it up to me to decide what, if any of them I wanted done. No pressure at all. It was a nice experience.

Refused to see my cat on a follow up emergency visit after a hematoma procedure and bad ear infection followed into a bad allergy reaction. His neck was so infected it looked like his head was coming off. I was told nothing available for 6 days even with his condition and i begged. This was our family vet for years and years. What happened to u people? Ur parking lot always full just raking in the dough. My last visit 3 weeks ago when i needed my dog cremated they had tree trimmers on the roof loudly cursing in spanish while im watching the family next to me cry their eyes out after turning over their dog to be put down. It made me sad their moment was with that kind of rudeness. Thankfully mine had already passed. Nobody recommends u guys anymore and now i see why.

I can't say enough good things about this vet. We have taken our rescue dog, as well as our new puppy, and we are always treated so kindly and with respect. Right now it is curbside, but all of the staff do an an amazing job in communicating with you and making our pets feel safe when we can't be with them. Thank you Santa Clarita Animal hospital for always being there for our animals! Our dogs get excited to visit their friends at the vet!

Called for an emergency vet visit and was accommodated right away and they cared well for the dog. Their Covid19 policies were very efficient. A clinic associate met me at the parking lot and took my dog in. The doctor called me up to get a medical history and discuss her treatment plan. Same associate safely returned my dog to me in the parking lot with prescriptions and reaffirmed the treatment plans. Amazing and timely appropriate care. I highly recommend them if your Vet could not get you in on the same day. My Vet's office actually recommended Santa Clarita Animal Hospital.

We love Dr. Tran! We have been going to her for years. She is always spot on diagnostically and had a wonderful and kind bedside manner. She explains everything clearly and with compassion. The girls at the front know our K9 family well and are always helpful. Thank you Santa Clarita Animal Hospital!

This is my favorite vet I have ever been to. They have taken such good care of all my 3 dogs. I'm amazed about how even the receptionist remembers things about my pets and I know I'm in good hands. The surgeon did a great job fixing my puppies broken leg. I'm so grateful I found this vet
