About Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center
Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center offers a spacious and clean shopping environment, though experiences can vary. Many customers find it well-organized with a decent amount of staff, making it easy to browse items. Some shoppers appreciate the variety of unique items available, including silly ceramic pieces, but have noted that prices seem to be higher than at other thrift stores. Customer service also receives mixed reviews; while some employees, like Leon, are friendly and helpful, others, including the manager, have been described as less accommodating. Donation drop-off hours can be inconvenient, as some customers have reported that donations are not accepted shortly after opening. Additionally, there are concerns about the store's temperature, described as uncomfortably hot on occasion, which has affected the shopping experience for some. Overall, the store has potential, but improvements in customer service and pricing may enhance the experience for future visitors.
Tried the location on Bouquet Canyon. They stop accepting donations shortly after they open at 9am. Good luck donating there. So I rang this location. Leon was so kind and helpful on the phone and when I went to drop off items. He definitely has the giving spirit. We love you Leon. Keep up the great and friendly work!

I love all of the silly ceramic things they have, but since the rise in thrifting, the prices have been severely marked up :( I remember seeing a vest with a price tag of 3$ from a different thrift store being marked up to 8$ here
