My mother and I came to the store that we like to shop in. Unfortunately the customer service department at the entrance where you buy money orders were very rude. The lady Ruth and Wilma seemed had an issue with us changing our mind on the amount we want the money order amount to be. Mind you that they hadn't printed anything out yet. So I don't understand what the issue was. They asked for ID and SS#, which we have no problem providing. I asked them to show me where do they have a paper stating that we have to purchased a money order of the amount we first mention and not change our mind. They said they didn't have one. Very upsetting it felt like they were making up this rule. Or where they discriminating??? Very unhappy customer. I will definitely make it an issue.

Be aware employees will look you straight in the face as they proceed to do their tasks: Perhaps maybe the fact that they look you straight in the face will let you know that they're going to do this to you And perhaps this will keep you from getting hurt While in the canyon country Vallarta I've seen three employees do this to the customers shopping at the store: all female employees and all female customers. I will give an example. Someone needed to assist a customer and while someone was walking in the path (already) The employee seem to need to walk very quickly cut the person off in order to get to her destination where the customer was. The person who was walking in the path of the employee almost fell and I had to help them. Perhaps vallarta should know this so they can keep from having a lawsuit.

My favorite market! They have the best meats and the best selection for Mexican products. Their Panaderia is my favorite as their Pan Dulce is always fresh! Highly recommend!

I like Vallarta, lately when I get out from work, and I'm hungry I come here, it's been like 3 or 4 times this month, and there is one person in particular I don't know her name, but she seems that either she doesn't like her job or something else, but one time she help me and she was Cain that rude and rushing, when she was at the register the other time I order a torta cubana and she was the making it and to be honest I feel like it she did not know how to prepare it was bad if she doesn't know how to prepare food, I feel that the food was made for animals it was so bad that, it got me thinking why should I come here for food it just been a bad experience, if someone read this please give your employees some new training on customer service, and also in how to prepare food!

One of my favorite grocery stores! They have fresh ingredients and good prices with lots of options, organic etc. they also have a hot food area that makes the best green drinks and stake quesadillas. I also hosted had an event with food catered by them.

Excellent meats! especially the carne asada preparada (picado) for tacos, their guacamole, and chips. They have an excellent array of tequilas priced affordably. My favorite is the Herradura Ultra white añejo for $49.99. They also have decent produce and natural spices.

In violation of The California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), the Unruh Civil Rights Act, and the Disabled Persons Act are state laws that protect people from discrimination based on disability. The laws also require employers, housing providers and business establishments to make reasonable accommodations so that people with disabilities can perform their jobs, have equal housing opportunities, and, HAVE EQUAL ACCESS TO BUSINESSES AND SERVICES.

I had went to the store on February 20,2020 around 8:30pm to buy albóndigas and a caldo de res. The meat was raw. I'm pregnant and thankfully I noticed and stopped eating it. My boyfriends caldo de res was raw. I have taken pictures to prove it.

Vallarta!! Stopped in to grab some chicken tameles!! And let me tell you- they are good!! In coming in today the store was clean, sanitizing protocols in place, everyone wearing masks, safe social distancing and super fresh produce. This is one store I enjoy shopping in. Thank you Vallarta for the friendly and speedy service! Btw... love the new self checkouts!

!!!!!!!'PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE TAMALES HERE!!!!!!!!!!!Wow! Do you seriously call this tamales! I went yesterday to buy tamales here as there was no other options, and do I regret it, I had 2 right after and was hungry, so I had no choices save 2 for today and boom! The worst tamales I've ever had, if you can call this tamales, the cheese is dark not sure how you can even do that, the dough just crumbled like an old cookie, disgusting, I will also take the time to say how bad the service is, if you go after 9 pm you can hardly find the right help as there nobody on the fresh meats or dairy department, and when you ask for something they give attitude and say, I already clean the slicer, like it's my fault they did, happened several times, was just lazy to write as I also know this will change nothing, poor management for sure, cashier don't even know the produce names or codes, but the tamales was just the icing of the cake! Nasty, flavorless, horrible consistency!!

Went to purchase 3.5lbs of pork carnitas. Got home to make tacos, just to see all the carnitas were burnt. I was able to use about 1lbs of the actual 3.5lbs I bought. So unhappy with it, I've bought carnitas here before and never had a problem. I'm not the type to write a review but that's how bad the carnitas were this time.

I went today. The line was ridiculous. I saw the 10 item express light was on. So I went over. No cashier was there. So I got in the long line with my 3 items. I always see multiple employees and 1 cashier. They need to spend less money on people walking around and more people on registers.

The wife was making chile rellenos for the first time, and needed some specialty cheeses. All of the local Albertsons and Ralphs didn't have it, so I headed down to Vallarta. My first time in the store.Store is very neat and clean, all of the employees very friendly and helpful. I don't speak Spanish and ran into a language barrier with one employee when I was looking for help, but she immediately got someone who could help me.Store has a broad assortment of products and a great looking food-to-go section. It's out of my normal trading area, so I probably won't make it a regular stop, but I would recommend to anyone.
