Although difficult parking is not the stores fault, there are no carts available in the store and no staff to ask location of products. Won't go back.

We have been taking our aging dog to this Vetco for about 2 years, and specifically seeing Dr Chang. She's the best veterinary doctor we've met in a long time. She takes all the time necessary for us to understand our dog's care, and her love for her profession and for her patients shows. The staff here has always shown the same level of caring.

Charge you thousands of dollars extra. Other locals vets charge way less. If you come here and it feels pricey, it is. Go to other vets.

This evening we went to purchase fish at 8pm when the store closes at 9pm. There was no one to service us " the aquatic specialist wasn't working". Then General Manager came over & said "he doesn't know how to catch a fish & would not help us to make our purchase." I have never had such horrible customer service by an associate & by the General Manager. We will never shop at this location again. We both work in sales & not only disrespect to the customer but lack of urgency to make a sale for the store itself.

Called this place to ask about how much their general examination fees were and the lady told me that they only do general examinations at their vetco clinic. She said to make an appointment online and that the exam would be free (I didn’t mention anything about vaccines btw, just a regular checkup). I thought it was a little weird that it was no cost, but after asking multiple questions to ensure what I was hearing was correct— I made an appointment. I show up on a Sunday, the vet itself is closed, but the vaccine clinic is open. I walk over and ask them about the examination and they told me they don’t do them at the clinic, only at the vet …. A WASTE OF TIME. She gave me incorrect info and I drove all the way over here for zero reason, this is basic information that the front desk should know when people ask simple questions about regular checkups??

For VETCO services.I would not normally take my animals to the Petco Veterinarian. But my regular vet did not have any appointments available and we had a new puppy with a bit of diarrhea. I figured examining a new puppy and sending a stool sample to the lab would be easy tasks. Brought my puppy in, vet was really nice. I had brought a stool sample in- she said she would send to the lab and that she would call with the results, based on if it's negative or positive we would discuss options for how to treat the diarrhea. She gave me Hills Science Diet i/d in the meantime for the diarrhea. During check out I was a bit alarmed by the cost. $75 for an exam and over $40 for a fecal test. Those are both very high prices and not what I am used to seeing at my regular vet. They said I would get a call the following day with the results.Within hours of the visit she was a bit itchy and doing a little cough/hack. I had wondered if maybe she was allergic to the prescription food. I called Vetco and they did not have any appointments available to recheck, but they left a message for the doctor. I did not receive a call back. But I did receive the fecal results via email- negative. The next day, I called again and left an additional message for the doctor- I wanted to discuss fecal results and I wanted to touch base about her symptoms after having the prescription food. I got a call back around 4pm stating the vet was out but would call me tomorrow (thurs). It is now Tuesday of the following week and I still have not gotten a call back. I stopped giving her the food and she is much better. She has an appointment with our regular vet this week. I did call to follow up and ask how much vaccine would be now that her diarrhea resolved and since she is already an established patient there. They quoted me $45 for a technician visit and $40 for one dhpp vaccine. I have never been to a vet that charges for tech appointments. $45 is closer to regular exam fees done by a vet. Tech appts are usually free. The dhpp vaccine is also almost double the cost here. I would not recommend. They only care about overcharging you.

The Vetco Total Care team working on 7/14/2023 at 3:45 PM were completely amazing! Dr. Flores, Alondra, and Senia we're on point from start to finish--they were kind, helpful, patient, gentle, loving, INFORMATIVE, and treated our baby as if he were their own. We will definitely be making this location our permanent Vetco home.

VITAL CARE SCAM!!!Cashier told me that the viral care "can be cancelled anytime" and that there was no obligations but failed to say "there is a one year payment commitment per month" and that the cancellation anytime cancels automatic renewal but they still charge monthly.DISHONEST EMPLOYEE "EMILY" was the one helping me out with this sale, I would avoid this place. When signing up for vital care she took the phone from me to "finish signing up" and therefore I never saw any sections stating annual commitment. To put the scam in place she even crossed out "annual commitment required" in the paper.

I have owned saltwater or freshwater tanks for the better part of 20 years and honestly dread going into Petco to look at or buy fish, but with a 5 year old, it's the experience that makes me come back. Today our 50 gallon freshwater tank was ready for a whole new school. Kendall, a member of Petco's staff, was eager to help. I have so many great things to say about her. She is excited and happy to help, she is incredibly knowledgeable about all things aquatic. She knows and likes the fish and encouraged us to build a school of gouramis, cichlids, African frogs, and angels. I can't wait to see how these fish get along and a big thanks to Kendall for being amazing. She's great!

We've been coming here for pet needs because we're close but the last encounter we had was with the 'manager' (lady) who was very rude- not only to customers but to her own staff. One of her staff called her through the radio for help and we all heard her be rude to him. SHE SHOULD NOT BE A MANAGER THERE. SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO RUN A STORE, LET ALONE RUN A STAFF PROFESSIONALLY.
