I recently had my first experience. Last week on Tuesday, I brought three items for alteration and was told they would be ready by this Tuesday. However, when I visited this morning, my items were not ready. The staff initially couldn’t locate my items until I pointed them out, and I saw that two pieces were still by the sewing machine. I am disappointed by the lack of communication regarding the delay, as it shows a lack of respect for my time. While the establishment appears clean and decent, my first experience was unsatisfactory.

The staff recently changed (probably ownership changed too). The quality of service, and specifically the alterations, has gone significantly downhill. I had a pair of pants taken-in, and the thread color match is quite bad with unfinished/uneven seams. I’m pretty disappointed, since the woman that used to work there was so talented. I don’t recommend this place for alterations anymore.

Very expensive, seems the price everything from out of blue I've got charge $100 with no explanations for 3 items when I came pick them up. Just like that. Seems her business doing not well, but why she charging so much taking prices from clouds - very terrible. She just know people wants the items back, and that is the reason shee charging out of blue... I never go to this place any more, never. Very expensive and rude.

This family run business is a staple for The WESTSIDE. We are loyal customers since 1995 - for laundering business shirts, dry cleaning household items (from vintage wool blankets to stuffed animals) and for all our dry cleaning needs. Their ability to hem jeans is awesome (separate price points for straight hem and for "original look" hem. The family is courteous land knowledgeable and completes all services in a timely manner. Westside GOLD in a green dry cleaning business!

I really liked the "owner." She's very sweet. But I had to switch cleaners after several pieces came back with tears. They were all of the same materials. I asked about it, but she seemed surprised and said the garments were old. I thought it best to change.

This was my first time getting clothing altered and I was really pleased. I had to get some jeans taken in because womens sizing is never consistent and the alteration is amazing. They fit perfectly around my waist and when they're on you can't even tell they were altered

I have patronized this business for many years despite the rude lady who works here. I brought my $900 blouse in for dry cleaning and it was ruined. I will not bother taking it back to show her because I am already upset enough about my blouse and I don't want to deal with her attitude on top of my financial loss. But I will leave this review so that maybe someone else will be spared a similar experience. I will not come here again.

Almar's cleaners are perfect combination of beautiful work & honesty! The husband and wife duo know me by name when I walk in. They are kind to all!! Their alterations have always been spot on & any stain I bring them they are eager to say yes, they can remove. Thank you for being such a staple in this community for so many years!!

Owned and operated by wonderful kind people! Took a coat to remove the shoulder pads and get cleaned, they did an amazing job for just $30!
