Absolutely love the soaps and body lotions of Bonny Doon. They are a regular fixture at the annual Capitola Art & Wine festival and their scents and quality shine far above your typical lavender products. The smoothness of the lotion and how quick it is to absorb is wonderful. Leaves your skin soft but doesn't leave a film like other brands of lavender lotions I've tried. The smell is light and comforting as well. Their soaps are a treat in the shower and lather well, keeping their scent for the duration of their use. Love supporting this farm and their wonderful products. Not sure where to buy them year round but they do have an online store! Review #82 of 100 review goal in 2021

Wonderful lotions and essential oils, as well as cologne. They made an error in my order and were quick to make amends and even gave me a free item. Needless to say, I would be happy to buy from them again.

I've never had a phone call with the Meehans, but I have written to them, received their price list, and ordered straight from them. I was turned onto them when I bought a tester of their Bay Rum cologne in Half Moon Bay. Extremely nice! I also purchased a bottle of their Uplands cologne and the soap, too. If ever you wish to experience and savor the wonderful aroma of the Northern California coastal flora from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay, that will take you right there. The Lodge bar of soap has the distinct aroma of a spruce pine that floods the shower with Christmas fragrance. My brother-in-law, who has a Xmas tree farm in West Virginia, loves the stuff! I do wish Meehan would make a cologne or aftershave to match. I like the oils that they produce, too, although I'm hard put to find any where I live. The soap itself is plain soap. Nothing complicated about it, and it's pricy, too. It's worth every penny for the quality and the rarity of the fragrance that you get. Treat yourself!

Wonderful soaps and lotions. We really like the lavender and the rosemary soaps, and in fact take them with us when we travel. Much more gentle on your skin and lovely scents--both of us especially love the rosemary soap which is unique. Lavender products are first rate. We have been buying from them now for over 10 years. Support this terrific small business--you can't go wrong!

I have used Bonny Doon Farm products going on 20 years now. In fact, I just opened a tin that I bought years ago - a Rosemary Gardner's Salve -- and it smells as good as when I bought it way back when. Our house is full of Bonny Doon Farm products that we use and love because the quality is outstanding and long lasting.

I just got off the phone with some lady at your business, and felt compelled to share my experience. I’ve mentioned that I am a repeat customer early in my call, and tried to strike up a light conversation saying “I remember you used to offer a few more sizes for your lavender soap.” The lady on the other end snapped at me saying “HOW MANY DIFFERENT SIZES YOU WANT? WE’RE A SMALL FARM!” That’s roughly 45 seconds into the call and completely killed my interest in replenishing my nearly-empty 128oz lavender soap. I would expect better service attitude from Walmart associates these days, let alone some farm selling $165 soap. I first heard about you in 2011 from staying at the Post Ranch Inn, but sadly you don’t live up to today’s service standards. As much as I’ve enjoyed your products, no more Bonny Doon soap for me & my family.

Fell in love with the fantastic quality of the soaps I get from them via Zenottos supermarket (this is the only place I see all the wonderful smells and varieties of soaps). I would like to visit the farm and take pics at the lavender fields, that would be so awesome, although in their web does not say they are open to the public. If if end up going, be ready to smell lavender through my photos and feel relaxed (after all, isn't lavender a relax-inducing flower?).
