This place was totally great. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and communicative about my drowned laptop and was able to revive it after extensive repairs. I highly recommend.

Computer Zone is the closest repair shop to us on the Westside of Santa Cruz. I've had Kevin and his assistants repair two laptops and one HP desktop. I purchased a refurbished Lenovo at a great price. Most recently replaced the battery in a Samsung Galaxy Tab. Highly recommended.

Longtime customer, but not no more:1. Brought it in for bugs in writing text and searching, etc. Lev swore it was because the inside was dirty. OK, what do I know? So they took it apart and cleaned it, taking twice as long as promnised, but hey it happens. Then I found out it was actually a very simple software problem solved by a changing just one setting option. 1. I got home to find out the mic was kaput; Lev said no problem, he's give me 10% off to fix HIS error.Adios after 20 years.

These folks will break your equipment and then try to charge you for it. I would not recommend.In response to the owners: Take this review seriously. About a year ago, I went for a screen replacement on my iPhone 6s... you then broke the charging port and wanted me to pay for it. It's actually happened to me twice at your establishment and looking at the other reviews I'm not the only one.Thank you

My laptop was left outside in a rainstorm and computer zone absolutely rescued it! Only took 2 days and they made sure everything worked again with minimal damage. So grateful and totally recommend

ZERO STARS. I wish I would have looked up all the BAD REVIEWS before I spent $600. I took in three computers and an old hard-drive to get old pictures off them. Two of the computers worked when I last used them, but it's been years, and the hard drive was formatted for Apple and I now had PCs. Long story short, they were only able to get info off the hard drive, which wasn't much as we switch to PCs. Then they messed up formatting the new hard drive and tried to charge us for their mistake. DON'T EVER USE COMPUTER ZONE (unless you like wasting time and money)

My computer kept overheating whenever it was on (nothing running or anything, just on). Took my computer to this place and my computer was fixed a lot faster than i was expecting. jay was the one that helped me and he was super nice and explained what was wrong with my computer. Glad I went here!! tldr; super nice, super good :)

I really like supporting local businesses like these and as far as I know, they have the best price when it comes to phone and computer repair in santa cruz. I brought in my old Macbook Pro to get all of the photos stored into a hard drive and they were able to get it done the same day! really recommend this place to anyone who isn't too good with computers and want anything done right the first time.

Called in to see if i could get my phone repaired and they were very transparent with pricing and the entire process. I brought it in early in the day and they were able to get it back to me super quick. My phone looks brand new and whenever my clumsy self breaks it again i will go back.

Went in to get my Dell laptop screen replaced. These guys did the job quickly and so well done. My computer looked like new once I got it back. They made it very easy to understand the whole process of ordering the part and fixing my computer in just a few days. Definitely will come back again if I need my computer or phone fixed for sure.

I was recommended by several friends to go in to this store. They are creative problem solvers. So far I ordered a special case for my smartphone & told it would be here in a day or two. My week got crazy so I left a message w/them today, Sunday, to call me when I could come & p/up. As I listened to their recording they gave hours. They are open M-Sat but what floats by boat is that they are also open on Sunday's by appt only. Seems like my most serious problems occur on Sats & Sun so good to know about Sunday. Most likely I'll hear from them tomorrow, Monday, since my issue is so insequential but I had to ask them if by some chance miracle, they could accommodate me due to my erratically crazy schedule this week. In the wild chance I get it today I will definately share that here. In any event, I'm going to recommend them because of the great things I heard from a few trusted friends. Just in case you'd like to hear one of my favorite jokes-for now, here goes: Q. What's the difference between ignorance and apathy? A. I don't know and I don't care. haha trust me it's much funnier when told opposed to written. Attitude is everything, as always.

I can't believe this place is still open! They replaced my battery with an after market battery that only worked for one year! Now I have to get a new one- this place is a joke! Don't go!
