No-hassle drop-off. Took only a few mins. They took what another Goodwill location did not. Helpful and friendly people.

i've had trouble dropping off goodwill items at other donation centers in town -- sometimes they are too busy or seem annoyed by more stuff. this donation center is easy, convenient, and i've been treated with great customer service.

went there on sat 2/22/14 at 2:30pm to drop off donations. the first man (employee) was fine- he came out to get the second load-I was surprised by that and thanked him. as we were walking into the building the other guy (2nd employee. I'll call him Dick) was very animated and with a raised voice told the other guy that this is crap, broken crap. he then held it up and said we don't take broken stuff, I said it wasn't broken. he said we don't take broken tvs, I said it wasn't a broken tv. I told him (as well did the first employee) that it was a laptop stand (brand new! not broken!). he said well we don't take it. the guy didn't even know what it was or ask what it was. Dick was rude, in my face, nasty and had a crazy look in his eyes. He was staring and very animated, loud voice the entire time. perhaps Dick is on drugs/drunk/crazy/or just shouldn't be working with the public. although I don't see how he could be frustrated by working with the public since all I said was it's a laptop stand (he couldn't hear my other replies through his ranting). so if you have to donate here, make sure you bring your mace. scary experience! this guy should be fired. I've made donations to goodwill forever but will no longer because of this Dick. I will now make donations to Salvation Army. so much for "goodwill" and I won't mention that a laptop stand looks nothing like a tv!!!!!!!!!!! and a laptop stand doesn't look "broken." everything he said was idiotic. and I should mention that Salvation Army was more than happy to receive a brand new, not broken, laptop stand!
