Owners, and employees are so nice! Great tacos, and a huge selection of Mexican snacks. Best. Market. Ever.

Did you know they serve the best burritos in town by far. The salsa the meat everything right there made to order. The food selection in this market is excellent as well. Overall what a surprise to find this place. Muchas gracias amigos

I had food poisoning with the tacos they were selling during the Point Fair. I'm pretty sure it was the chicken tacos because I didn't drink alcohol or ate anything else. When I mentioned it to the owner she said that it was probably the heat. Not it wasn't. It was for sure those tacos. I was sick for two days. It was terrible. I heard from other neighbors they also got sick with their food. Never again. I also bought fruits from there and realize later that they were bad. Went back to complain and they said that I should have brought it back. How am I going to bring back a rotten fruit?

Take out food is nothing special - $6 for two of the smallest tacos i have ever seen, literally 3 bites apiece. Nah.

The new building with the same great store that has been a go to forever. Cooking Mexican food? Hit this place first! The small meat counter in the back gives a nice surprise for how small it is. Smoked pork chops are my favorite here.

Stopped in on a skateboard ride to the beach, for something to drink. Left with three overfilled tacos and a soda for $10. The tacos were super yummy.

I was so happy to find this place until I realized there is NO CONSISTENCY between cooks! I got wonderful burritos from two of them (although the pastor is not good, too salty, overly marinated, not barbecued at all) then got mini kid burritos from the last cook. They don't offer their salsas other than the green and don't try to order custom because you will end up with 2 burritos the size of one and pay $20 for them/it

You can find a large variety of central and South American products! The staff is very friendly and kind. The new taqueria inside the market (NOT the taco truck that was in the parking lot ) is awesome! I totally recommend the tacos.

came here bc of the star ratings on google for "ricos antojitos mexicanos" which also i heard it goes by "angelines lunch truck" should have left since i got there! there was a man throwing out trash and looking around the construction area and i thought he was a homeless man. turns out he was the dang cook!! hopefully he washed his hands! i should have read the reviews first bc or else i wouldn't of came here. DONT PAY with card! heard they add their own tip! plus it says online the tacos are $2 and then inside the tent it says $2.25. the tacos looked gross! I dont know why my dumba$s still ate 1! ordered 2 asada & 1 al pastor. the al pastor looked okay looking but i had to throw out the asada bc they looked bad! a few hours later my stomach started hurting. Just please stay away. This taco truck/stand is next to this market. Better off going to VALLARTA !!

This is a sort of food/mercado/carniceria/taco truck collective kinda sorta not really by pleasure point. While they do have their own private lot about half of it is taken up by the taco stand, a clothing donation bin, a water bottle dispenser and some outside sale displays. So maybe a half dozen or so spots, and anybody after that will be down the side street. No biggie really. This is a quirky local spot which houses several associated businesses which all seem to overlap or at least have related owners. This is a convenience store/Mercado with a strong latin theme. There are two paleta ice cream coolers which have all the latin style ice creamy goodness anyone could want. They have a beer cooler along the back wall, a tiny produce section, dry goods, milk cheese, and eggs along with a meat counter. The dry goods can be hit and miss-some of those can have been on the shelf awhile-but if you need a plunger or some laundry soap unexpectedly in a hurry this spot has you covered. The produce ranges from "why would I pay money for that" to "this is a fantastic buy" range of fresh to wilted. The aisles are extremely small. Going to produce section is a tight fit. No room for a cart. The beer cooler has some surprises such as rogue six hops ale, but the it's the meat counter and the taco stand that really shine. The meat counter has fresh carnitas and roast chicken every day. The taco stand is epic. It's open early and late-something like seven am to midnight, and they deliver. Six dollars will get you a popeye's forearm sized packet of meat and vegetables wrapped in a tortilla, all with salsa made by hand fresh daily. Two bucks will get you a street taco and there are coolers filled with bottled drinks along with a limited but super fain selection agua fresca. Very much the urban latin style street cuisine in all it's glory. So come for the tacos then go pick up some meats, paletas or rogue.

Taco stand next to market is terrible, tacos are really greasy and hot dogs are day old. Do not recomend at all
