My favorite store in Santa Cruz I’ve judged most stores by the price of their lemons (the most common produce of California) they are the cheapest of ALL other markets like Whole Foods- Safeway - Shoppers Corner etc.

Though small and specialized to serve the Latino market, Hernandez supermarket has many of the groceries you need. A little on the high spectrum, some of their pricing is above other grocers. It is conveniently located on Laurel and Chestnut. I wish they'd have more parking but I somehow always manage to secure a spot.
