About NHS Skate Museum

The NHS Skate Museum is a very cool sk8 shop and a must-visit for every old school skater. The museum collection tells the history and origins of NHS and Santa Cruz Skateboards, Independent Truck Company and Road Rider Wheels during the 1970s and 1980s, representing the foundation of NHS and the bedrock of the modern skateboard industry. It is a combination of rare artifacts from the NHS archives and other private collections, showcasing rare film and photos, product innovations, artwork and the personalities connected to these brands. This makes it the most mesmerizing and badass museum for anyone who loves, breathes and dreams about skateboarding. The museum space is built by skaters for skaters. The staff is super attentive. Visitors should note that they cannot record videos or take photos with flash. The museum was an idea from the desire to celebrate Santa Cruz Skateboard’s 40th anniversary in 2013. Every skateboarding enthusiast should make a visit to see these precious relics from some of the most progressive creative humans in skateboarding culture.
