This Safeway Pharmecy on Morrisey used to be staffed by helpful and competent employees. They now act like they are doing you a favor by giving you your medication and if you ask questions they don't have the time to give you anything than a snotty answer. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

By far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to the Aptos Safeway Pharmacy many times and loved it, but I will never be coming back to this one. The staff are all extremely rude, and they do not want to help you if you run in to any problems getting your medication. I have been unable to get my meds for over two months because of the actions and lack of communication from this pharmacy. Nobody there knows what they’re doing, and they’re all just plain mean! I would give this pharmacy zero stars if I could, and will continue to drive to Aptos for their pleasant and helpful staff over this abomination of a pharmacy any day.

Mr long has no idea what he is doing. Can’t even figure out how to properly check out medication without doubling the amount. Has no idea how to use insurances correctly. I have MediCal and the price doubled…. Been standing here for almost an hour, all while the other guy pretends not to be drunk by hiccuping the whole time. Today is 06/08/2023 @ 6:47pm. I hope Safeway at least reviews the footage and does something about these two.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to if I could give them zero stars I would! I have had multiple issues with them being out of stock on prescriptions on top of that the pharmacist all seem to give you the go around and are extremely rude as well as they seem to be completely uneducated on how to use their computer systems or have the worst communication skills I have ever seen every time I call to try to figure out what’s going on with a prescription I get different answers.

I've came here a couple times before and all I gotta say is there store is Always disorganized and super confusing to find anything so your better off getting your stuff at a rite aid or even Walgreens instead also there workers have No customer service skills whatsoever don't come here you'll just waste your time

This store always give problems. Not to mention as a instacart service provider I start my shifts early. It's sad that the restrooms are closed from 9pm to 9am but your store opens much e to earlier. This makes no sense YOUR BATHROOM CLOSER FEOM 9PM TO 9AM IS RIDICULOUS. YOU HAVE ELDER PEOPLE SHOPPJNG THAT KAY NEED TO USE THE RESTROOM AND WONT BE ABLE TO DUE TO IT BEING CLOSED.

Filling prescriptions at this pharmacy is a terrible experience. They are incompetent and unprofessional. Save yourself the agony, and fill your prescriptions at another pharmacy. Better yet, get set up with an online delivery service pharmacy such as CVS Caremark. If you get your prescriptions filled here I hope you have better luck than me. Never again!

Worker at deli area was rude and disrespectful. I told her I was going to build a sandwich and as I was listing the ingredients while looking at the menu, she asked if I wanted anything else. I said yes and listed spinach. When I looked over at her she was putting mustard and Mayo on the bread. I didn't want any of that and hadn't told her to put it. When I said I didn't want that she said she asked me and I had said yes. I said no I didn't and she said she specifically asked me and i'd said yes. I said I thought she said did I want anything else and sorry but I don't like mustard. Her tone was very rude and she angrily tossed the bread into the garbage. This time she went step by step as I told her what I wanted on the sandwich. She tried to make up for it by saying have a good day but her negativity totally ruined our appetite. The only thing that made the experience better was the cashier who was nice

I have never had a more frustrating experience in my life. They answer the phone and proceed to tell you their busy and your now the reason for their inadequate service. Service is what they have forgotten they are doing...or supposed to be doing. They are down right rude. Worse then Verizon and the DMV all mashed together into a complete nightmare. Texts tell you they have your prescription ready. Not true. They say on the phone if you can manage somehow by some miracle to get them to actually give you any information. This rediculous lady has texted me two times while writing this review because I got sick of her horrendous treatment of me on the phone and hung up while on hold so she could get the pharmacist to tell me what I was told on the phone. 3rd grade recess. I swear she is so completely inept that I have no idea when if ever I can receive a complete order from this place. My doctor calls in my pills every three months like clock work and then it takes a month to get them...no kidding!! I think that it would be faster walking to the moon!! If she just one time did something that wasn't out of SPITE I would not know what to do...that's how they work...when you get your pills is determined by how much you are to be punished by QUEEN SPITE THE PHARMACY DEVIL!! She was to busy to answer my questions but not to busy to demand to know l what other pharmacies don't do that she does after I said I needed to know when to come there again to get last montes supply that the SPITEMASTER withheld. What must the person who desperately needs to fire her be doing while she screws with your pills. I really do pray nothing serious happens that could be a repercussion of her actions. The medical field does not need people like her.

BAIT-&-SWITCH! The weekly Safeway advertising that clutters my mailbox promotes the most consistent & shameless examples bait-&-switch I've ever seen. Discounted items are routinely missing. When I find someone to ask about it, I'm simply told they're "sold out" and I'm out of luck -- even when the ad doesn't have the lame "While Supplies Last" excuse. This can happen long before the advertised deadline. When that happens to you, and you complain, expect to be told "the employee who handles that department isn't in now." Right across the street from this Safeway is the Grocery Outlet -- which I give 5-stars, and I have no hidden reason for doing so. PS: The Safeway premises typically have homeless types hanging around. That much I don't blame Safeway for, but that's the reality.

i come to this safeway a couple times a week and MOST of the staff seem like they don't even want to be there and are rude asf. just dealt with jon and it seemed like i was a huge problem, he huffed and puffed when i asked him for a second bag LOL

Your cashier Jon might have one of the worst attitudes I've ever experienced here. Also I dont mind bagging my groceries but when I need to pay and only have a few things left if would be nice if he helped I stead of checking out the next person.
