I went into Spokesman with a few questions and received courteous and generous help from multiple staff members. This shop has an excellent selection of everything you could need, a capable service center, and a welcoming, chill atmosphere. I only came to get my bike fixed here because my roommate recommended them to me. Had my bike of 3 years repaired for the first time ever by Phil. Super rad guy, gave me a quote and an itemized receipt of what I was paying for in terms of parts and labor. I was having issues with my phone so he even sent the invoice to my email as well. It's October now, and the turnaround was impressive (brought bike on Saturday, picked up on Tuesday), but they advised me it can be longer during the busy months. Riding back from Spokesman Bicycles felt like a dream, smoothest ride on my bike I've ever had, including when I first bought it brand new! Thanks Phil, and thanks Spokesman Bicycles! Totally worth it.

I bought two Ibis Ripley back in September as I was looking for those for few months, one large for my husband and one medium for me. I found Spokesman web and called the store to confirm that they actually had the bikes as per the website information. Miles answered all my questions and kept me posted of the bikes shipment as I live in Florida. Both bikes arrived well, we only needed to replace one of the tires valve as it wasn't holding on the air. We algo got a 10% discount on each bike and free shipping. We can't be happier with our bikes.

A friend referred me here after my last bike was stolen and I needed to re-assess security, as it is my only mode of transportation. Everyone I encountered was great. I didn’t catch the name of the first guy who helped me pick the appropriate lock for where I live and park it, budget etc. Then Harry replaced my quick release seat with a bolt. I’m somewhat new to the world of bikes but the shop looked well stocked with anything bike related you might need. I’ll be back for sure. Hopefully not for a lock replacement though! ??♀️

If I could give a lower rating I would for sure. Extremely unprofessional in dealing with customers. I had called on a Friday morning for a pair of wheels for my MTB. They confirmed that my desired specs were in stock but in carbon. I asked for some store discount which he denied. Fair enough given shortage of supply. After hanging up I checked online once again for a bit to again come across this stores website where they displayed 10% off for Ibis wheels. I was like I was just told no discounts. I called again same store to see if they can honor their ad online. The guy who picked said yes, but transferred me to the person with whom I spoke first. He was a bit hesitant to say yes they will honor the discount but said yeah it can be done. It was very annoying to say him that when he knew at the beginning that a discount could have been given. Anyway I moved past the frustration and asked him few questions to double confirm it was the wheelset I needed. He literally put me on hold and went to check and confirmed that it had the 6pawl XD driver and 6bolt for a 27.5. I told him I would drive from East Bay in peak traffic to pick the item, in response he said that's fine and there are opened till 6PM. He took my name and said will set it aside on my name. Just before I was about to leave someone left a VM in my cell saying their store is Infact open till 5PM only and suggested I go to their non Outpost location. By this time it was too late and hence I called the store to tell them I'll reach tomorrow since I wouldn't be able to reach on time. When I reached today, I was told that's it's a mistake and there is none in stock. I asked for Miles who confirmed me and I didn't even get to d as peak with him. There was barely any visible effort to look for it or even help me. The guy with whom I spoke was kind of disrespectful and I doubt he understood what I told. He said Ibis wheel that I'm looking doesn't come in 6bolts and it's not possible they keep it. See attached screenshot from their website which shows in stock and the exact stock I needed. Very unprofessional and lack of interest in helping a customer who was in dire need of a wheelset due to upcoming travel. Plus not to forget I drove 2+ hrs from East Bay in traffic to pick it up. In my several years of dealing with bike shops I have never seen such lack of interest, unprofessionalism and total failure of communication. It's sad to see LBS behave this way when online shopping is the preferred shopping mode for most people. I know this review means nothing to them but this doesn't mean it shouldn't be known to others. I love giving good reviews and only in rare execrations I ding someone. This is one of those! No apology nothing!!!

Out riding and realized I forgot my bike lock so stopped by to pick one up. They were close to closing for the day but didnt rush me and were extremely helpful. I ended up buying the wrong lock came back and they helped me with no issue getting and setting up a new one.

I got my first 'real' MTB at Spokesman nearly 30 years ago...a GT Zaskar.Now, I just got my dream bike, an Ibis Ripmo, from Matt and I'm so stoked.These guys are real pros and the customer service id 'old school' great.

Helpful, flexible sales staff making adjustments and such to find the perfect bike and accessories. Not pushy and great selection. Haven't used the shop but the mechanics all seem like stand-up fellas.
