Great breakfast and great wine, cheeses and other snacks in the afternoon. Met Family traveling from Wisconsin. Everything (restaurants, boardwalk in beach)was so close. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is great.
The only downside is that area is very noisy so you cannot go to bed with open windows while the room do not have AC.

The house is beautiful and the rooms are very quiet. The person who thoughtfully prepares the breakfast each morning is the stand out. Making the tasty breakfast, fresh coffee and ensuring everything is perfect made the 2 night stay something special.

great historic Victorian hotel. the managers and staff are great, the rooms are unique from the 19th century, but clean and modern. The breakfast is mind-blowing. all the dishes are not plastic, but ceramic, the cook cooks everything on the spot in the morning in front of you. if you decide to stay here you will not regret it. They also have free bicycles, be sure to take one and ride around the city.

Absolutely adorable, quiet inn. Only 10-11 rooms, so there is a parking spot for each room. My spouse and I stayed to celebrate our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a private balcony and easy-to-use fireplace. They have a refrigerator in the lobby with a good drink selection, breakfast in the morning, and cookies in the afternoon. Big shout-out to Luna who carried our bags up the stairs. Nice location close to the wharf and other dining options. Also recommend Surf School Santa Cruz if you are interested in a reasonably priced private lesson. Overall, great experience; beautiful building; other guests were quiet and respectful. Wish we had stayed another night!

If you want to experience Victorian glamour, this is the place to stay. The Inn is superbly restored and very elegant. Location is ideal to go and experience the (step back in time) Santa Cruz boardwalk.

This was my second time booking here. My car got broken into. There’s cameras around the building, yet failed to capture the incident. I told the front desk and they said they will look into it. But they didn’t call me when they saw the footage. Also they charged my card without my confirmation regarding a service fee for a room I never I agreed for. They refunded my card back and gave me $100 back for the inconvenience of the stay. There is no employee during the after hours, which was frustrating to wait until you can talk to someone regarding the stay.

My husband and I stayed here while travelling through Santa Cruz by motorcycle. This location was charming, clean, comfortable, and had fantastic service (the staff were amazing/helpful). It's approximately one city block from the beach - ideal! The hotel provided beach towels & bicycles for us. Every day, we enjoyed a delicious and nutritious breakfast. On days when we returned to the hotel by 4 pm, there was a fantastic happy hour with snacks and beverages! Parking was never a problem; we always had a spot in the lot (we were on a motorcycle). We loved our time here and look forward to staying again!
