I hope I am reviewing the SANTA FE SPRINGS location. It was my first experience renting a moving truck from Budget and boy was I disappointed. First of all, the lady at the front counter was not friendly and definitely ghetto. I felt like I was on the set of the movie "Mi Vida Loca", eh. Anyway, she tells me at the counter that I needed to add on commercial insurance and that it was mandatory. I had booked my order online and if this was the case, it should have indicated that on there, I exclaimed to her... to no avail. I ended up having to pay another $65/70 for the insurance. I was also told online that the truck I was renting and driving all the way up north to Sacramento was to have AC (the weather in LA and SAC were blazing hot) and she just casually (almost with a chuckle, I think) tells me there the AC is definitely NOT working. The truck was also filthy and not clean, and I just wanted to get this done and over with the minute I got in! Thank goodness I tried Budget again at a different location the next time, otherwise, I would NEVER consider using them again!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!System will rent vehicles to you that don't exist, and you will not be informed until you arrive for pickup. Then, front desk will do absolutely nothing to help. Do not get scammed trying to rent through this company or location.

I am posting the email I sent recently so no one else will get the same treatment I did. I'm telling you, you will be brow beaten to buy a car and then be sorry that you did. NO ONE has even acknowledged my email. So don't forget to look at the images as they are screenshots of my email.

I have rented cars from many different rental car companies at various locations over the years and I like this location the best. Excellent and fast customer service everytime.

Miriam is extremely passive aggressive. I never had any issues with the men, always treating me very professionally over the years. Beware of her. She’s rude and doesn’t know what she’s doing then makes mistakes and blames you for it. She seems to really hate her job and severely lacks customer service skills. She never greeted me nor ever smiled nor ever said anything courteous throughout my rental experience. However, I had no issues with the cars or its cleanliness.

They have really bad customer service after finishing renting a car from them five days later I decided to contact corporate office one of the guys made a comment because I wouldn’t give them my credit card“Oh I get it you not have any money” The district manager didn’t bother e giving you a call back. When the car was picked up we spent 15 minutes cleaning the inside of the car received a dirty pic on yelp .. this place is bulls****

Not a good experience. Was going to make it my place to rent a car ( 4 to 5 times a year). Not so much anymore.

Bad service they blocked my car in the parking lot with vans, was supposed to understand that's what they meant when they said "they lock the gates at night" when there's also a literal gated lot. Guy just kind of blew me off when I was being pretty polite about it at first didn't even offer any sort of apology even though it ended up costing me extra money and time. Overall just rude employees probably bad management.

If I could take stores away from this location I would. I made a reservation six days in advance for a 26 footer. My coworker showed up today no trucks available in that size. I procededed to call the location and ask why I was not informed before hand. The gentleman proceeded to yell and speak over me and ultimately hung up on me. Zero human decency. Once they get a reservation they feel like they have you by the balls and that you have to go with them since it's the day of your move. Lucky for me and Penske had a 26 foot available and it was $100 cheaper... go in Penske!!!!!

We didn't end up renting a car due to the price, but that's a corporate issue-- Ulysses was extremely accommodating and delightful to talk with. He understood it didn't work out with us today, but I would be happy to rent from him again.

BEWARE STAY FAR AWAY - DO NOT COME HER Pictures are from both rentals I have had one in May one June.. I rented two vehicles from this location. The first time they gave me a car that had clearly been in an accident an just told me to take pictures. I took pictures and had to contact their National service center. I submitted 32 photos showing the significant damage on the vehicle. I had to rent a car this week June 2021 due to an unforeseen circumstance only to get an old Corolla I paid the "intermediate" price for. The back tires kept making the air pressure sensor come back on. I filled it up twice in the two days I had the car only to call ahead of time ask to return it and then be greeted by this loud yelling banshie accusing me of damaging their cars and returning them. I don't want to be in a rental, I took photos prior to leaving. If you fill a cars tires up right before someone drives off how on earth would they know the tires are low?! I returned the car two days early and will never rent from budget again. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PAY THE EXTRA MONEY TO RENT AT BUDGET. Or you'll be threatened and harassed by location employees for things out of your control.

I rent cars all the time and I’ve never had a worse experience at any kind of a business in all my 60years of living. I would walk thousands of miles in the snow before I would even consider going to Avis or budget rental again and even if I did consider it. I WOULD NOT AS THEY SUCK REALLY HARD !!!

Friendly enough and the truck got the job done. However they did not clean the truck at all. The truck had just arrived from another location with someone not wearing a mask. Most likely an employee with how they interacted with the other worker. Not the cabin or loading area was cleaned or swept. A sizable concern with not wanting anything to get dirty in the truck along with any covid-19 risk in the cabin. I had a reaction on my arm from resting it on the door.

I dont know the name, no name tag. 3/5/2020 12:05 pm this young hispanic guy needs to work on his people skills. (Should not represent this place). I have rented from budget many times over the past 37 years, and I know good customer service.
