First time and experienced top notch service!!! I love this bread! The rosemary bread is my favorite so far! A great local wholesale bakery in an industrial park behind a shopping center in Santa Fe Springs near Carmenita and Telegraph Road. The community was in love with the wonderful smell in the air that the owner decided to include retail sales.I found out about this bread through The Bee Hive, a wonderful restaurant in Whittier. No more bread from the local supermarket or farmers’market. This is the place to go if you live close by or just want to adventure!

If you're like me, even when you're fairly certain you're in the right place, you'll still wonder how to get in the closed iron fence. I drove in as someone was leaving and wondered how to get out. Another customer exiting the building said that someone would let me out after my purchase. The shelves were full of packaged mainstream breads you would find at your supermarket at reasonable prices. Don't expect bakery outlet prices here. The young lady who helped me was very helpful, and if they had some rustic artisanal baguettes, epi's, or loaves of crispy yet chewy breads, I would have purchased more.

Even though it is a little hard to find it is worth the trip. They were incredibly friendly to me as a first time customer and were very helpful in choosing what to get when everything looked so good! I tried the pumpernickel and sourdough bread. The texture of the bread was light and airy. I also had their pumpkin and lemon poppyseed muffins which were both delicious and moist and not too sweet. I like how they don't use preservatives too. Keep this in mind as you should eat it quickly or freeze them. If you just show up you can buy whatever is there, but there may not be everything you want. You can preorder ahead however and then pick up later and get exactly what you want. I mostly appreciated how they took the time to help me and you can tell they value their regular walk in customers. I will be going back again.

Call the office and ask when they are open to the public. When you go to the bakery you can pick loaves of the shelf. Don't look for a fancy place it's a working bakery. The variety of available bread varieties is pretty good. It's actual bread not airy bread. Prices are pretty good. Take plenty of cash because you will go crazy.

Delicious artesian breads at generous sizes and excellent prices! Daisy was the person who helped us and she was pleasant, professional, and most of all, patient. Everything we chose is so good; can't wait to go back!

I was visiting family in Passedena. Breakfast at a local restaurant was served with the best gluten free toast that I have ever tasted. The waitress told me the bread was from Melrose Baking Company. I tracked them down and was able to bring two loaves back to Chicago with me. This gluten free bread is dense and not fluff. It has a great flavor, it does not fall apart when used as a sandwich or when toasted. It is by far the best gluten free bread that I had had in the 12 years that I have had to eat gluten free! I will be ordering more online. If you are in Passedena and want to taste it, it is serve at Patticakes on Allen.

I found this place while searching Google for local bakeries and was enthralled by the feeling of backdoor/back alley dealings the reviews evoked. As mentioned, it’s a bit hidden down the alley and the gate looks closed but just head on in and go to the left of the loading dock. We picked up a sack of fresh loaves! Excellent.

So glad to see my favorite bakery coming back just as our catering biz is recovering from pandemic. We have been longtime customers since they supplied fresh Pretzel Buns for a Hamburger Wedding years ago. The client was so happy that they recommended us to do bigger event with nearly 500 local police (and friends). Hope to use them again soon.

The absolute best GF bread there is! You won’t even know it’s GF. So fluffy, tasty and hearty. Not like the store bought breads that are small and tasteless. They deliver quickly too! Highly recommend!!
