The answering service that Amerigas now uses is awful. I just want to be able to speak with someone who’s local to the area they are serving so issues can be resolved instead of talking to someone who is god knows where and never gives a straight answer and doesn’t have any authority to do anything besides say “I’m sorry you’re having this experience, let me escalate the issue” and then nothing is ever actually resolved.

You guys raised the price and charged me 2.65% to pay for your invoice, and drivers refused to accept the payment,You keep Walmart, Albertsons, Food 4 less, and all corporate stores cheaper than small stores .That's a shame

Your field crew is fantastic but your customer service is far from excellent. I lost my on line account just before you switched over to your new tank monitoring system. I informed customer service at the time of my last tank refill and payment, and was told "I'll notify IT and they will call you". Needless to say, I have yet to hear from IT to resume my prior account. I don't want a new account, I want my old account with prior data.

I was billed for a delivery I didn't receive. When I called about it, the first person took 10 minutes and then hung up on me. I called back and fhe second person said it was a mistake and I would receive a new bill showing I did not owe anything. I never received a new bill. As far as I know I was charge over $700 and have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I will cancel my service in the next month or two. Amerigas has the worst service.

This company is either the most horribly run propane company in America or a complete SCAM. We had our account with them closed for 2 years and they just sent us a bill for nearly $1,000. After calling their customer service and explaining the issue, they hung up on us: FOUR TIMES. (We originally cancelled their service because they would always miss deliveries or deliberately overcharge us.) Use Western Propane or someone else nearby. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

My delivery came early, the website to request service and pay my bill was totally user friendly with a high degree of easy use. I wish more companies would follow your business model, life would be so much easier :)

The gentleman was very nice and patient he did an excellent job. The only problem is I was not notified on day and time they were coming until after he came. He was very nice and apologized for that.

My experiences with Amerigas have only been getting worse. Deliveries are not prompt, or within the "delivery window" provided. Customer service is not helpful. I have tried multiple times to have my account updated to show that my tank is "customer owned". I've emailed a copy of the bill of sale to customer service and was told that my account would be updated in 48 hours. That was over a month ago. My account still shows that my tank is "company owned". I have also tried to opt out of the AmeriLock program. I've called multiple times and requested to opt out of the program, yet my account still shows payment due for $107.66.

Hello, I've had an empty tank that has been needing to get picked up for over 6 months. We aquired the empty tank with our property when we purchased the home after the previous home owner canceled the account. The previous home owner who is copied to this email was told that the empty tank would get picked up within a few weeks. The tank has been sitting next to my front driveway since November 2022. Despite multiple frustrating phone calls from us and the previous homeowner to your call center in the Phillipines for the past 6+ months, Amerigas has failed to pick up the tank. The tank is in a location of the driveway where it's at risk of being hit by a vehicle or a high powered yard maintenance equipment and it seems that Amerigas simply doesn't care for our family's safety. I just called three times today just to get hung up on and told that the account has been closed. When I reiterate that the account had indeed been closed six months ago but the tank hasn't been picked up, the customer experience advocate said that she doesn't see a tank that needs to get picked up. I've explained my frustration during numerous phone calls which have resulted in the customer experience advocate simply ending the phone call, after a long hold. I've never dealt with such poor customer service, the reps don't speak clearly, and have no idea how to resolve a customer's concern. They've simply told me that there's isn't a local location where I can call to schedule a pick up because apparently all local locations have stopped accepting calls. Us and the previous owners have been given the run around for the past 6+ months, just for a simple - empty tank pick up! Please be informed that I'm willing to contact any state or local agency that will enforce rules to hold Amerigas accountable. I just posted a message on the Amerigas consumer complaints Facebook page and learned about the hundreds of other people who have had a terrible experience with Amerigas. Rest assured that I plan to do everything under my power as a consumer to enlighten the world about our experience with Amerigas.P. S. I wish I could give 0 stars!

We waited and waited and waited but no one came despite all of the empty promises. We ended up going with another company.I feel sorry for your customer support staff, having to tell lies. Thank you for two solid weeks of no heat, stove or hot water.

Wish I could rate 0 stars. The drivers are all good guys but customer service is a bad joke. We were told by one of the drivers during a tank refill that we had an underground leak so he shut everything down and scheduled us for a tank position move for the next day so that we could minimize disruption to the yard. The next day no one came or called. We called to find out why and was told it looked like we were still on the schedule (though it was 5 pm). The next day no one came and no one called again. I called at noon and was told they were going to raise it to a HIGH PRIORITY call. By 6 PM still no service technician or a call, so I called again, looking for someone to eat alive. By now it is Friday evening. Turns out no one does these tank relocation calls on weekends. No hot water, no heat, no oven. You may want to see if you can find another provider.Update: Still no response 8 hours after responding to the email provided. I called customer service one more time and was told they have no idea when they can send someone to look at moving the tank location. I give up! I have contacted another provider, they sent a technician over within an hour, and the whole thing is scheduled. The problem I will now have is getting Amerigas to come get their tank off my property. There is an Amerigas Facebook page for complaints and the recurring problem is that they wont come and get their tanks. If they don't come inn 30 days I am charging them for storage.
