This is review of one worker only. The staff are very nice and helpful except Amy TShe was rude and mean not only to me but 2 people ahead of me. She is supposed to be a manager. Terrible social skills. She is drunk with power and it turns into rudeness instead of managerial skills. I used to run a multimillion dollar practice and if she did those things to my clients she would be gone. Every body else are so nice it is a shame she spoils it with her bad attitude

After going to a Washington DMV to register my sick Mother's car that had not been registered for over 3yrs, I about hit the floor. I was told the cost to bring the car up to date was $78. I asked about the fines, and mentioned I was from California, and thought it would cost a lot more. I was told by this DMV employee, I heard what California does to the people there. We don't treat our people like that. Well the first thing the Ca. DMV will say about that would be something along the lines of, then move to Washington. That is the problem. The Ca. DMV attitude is, keep finding ways to burn the people here. Bad money management needs to be looked at. Every little thing is looked at by the Ca. DMV as a possible way of getting more money, by adding more ways to get money. Washington has great roads. It appears to be doing a great job of money management. I didn't find any potholes, the state roads are in great condition as all the other items the WA. DMV pays for. It would appear someone needs to do something about what the Ca. DMV has been doing to the people here. When Covid was here and people could not afford to pay all the fines, what did the Ca. DMV do? When things happen, and you can't feed your family is not a time to fine people because they have lost their job. Things need to change. All I can see is greed. The Santa Maria DMV employees were fine, and did their jobs. It's the people hiding behind closed doors making up more ways to burn the people of California is the problem. Tell me it's not.

The worst DMV I've ever tried to work with. I've lived in three states and been to the DMV numerous times for myself and my kids. Santa Maria DMV goes out of their way to not take your paperwork or tell you to get some obscure form signed and come back. I was there three times and frustrated every time. Even the staff that were nice had bad info and insisted we needed paperwork that we didn't actually need per the website. It honestly feels like they will do more work to not help you. I will drive to another city just to not go here.

I have been trying to sign on the website for 1/2 hour, so I could make an appointment. The page keeps saying unresponsive. This is unreal as it is only 8:30am.

This place is a zoo! Even if you have an appointment you get to stand in line like everyone else. Takes forever. Never going back there again.

The dmv has changed so much and is way more efficient than ever before! Go online do as much as you possibly can on the dmv website before making your appointment and be sure to make an appointment before you go and it will be a good experience at the dmv I promise you

For the DMV being here for so many years, everything has gotten bigger n better but this place lol still small and too get help, even for a ticket to wait, almost an hour. Thry don't meet the needs of their customers fast enough. Next time I'll go to Lompoc or SLO. It's worth it, you are in and out. It's too bad this place is still like this
