Ordering my flooring and installation was the worse decision of my life. I placed the order for removal of the old floor and installation of the new floor. The flooring company came out and after about an hour, decided they didn't have the tools to remove the floor. I spoke with David the flooring manager and his statement was this is who we contract with. There is nothing I can do. Needless to say, I returned all of the material, received my 14000 dollars back and found another company that did a awesome job. In the past, I spent an average of 1200.00 per month at Home Depot. I will never spend another nickel there.

I purchased a major appliance and purchased an extended warranty. I was not informed at time of purchase that they don’t handle the warranty. The company that they use is very bad. They don’t use local service providers and I called to open a claim on September 24, 2021 and still don’t have a repair appointment. When I call the Home Depot (Santa Maria) to get help they just tell me I have to go through the warranty company! I am frustrated and no one cares!!!

My reviews are always deleted but here's another anyways. People are lazy!! They don't help. Nearly every time I call it takes more than 5 minutes before anyone even answers the phone. If they want to reduce indoor traffic with curbside it needs to be more efficient. I'd rather go in and wait 5 minutes than sit in my car and wait an hour.

The reason I keep coming back is because of the customer service. The employees here have always been friendly and willing to help. Most recently I had help from Jesse who went over and above when I had an issue at self-checkout with a mispriced item. Another time there was a gentleman in tools who was cheerfully helping to find equipment to get a table saw off the top racks. The gal at checkout with long blonde/white hair should get an honorable mention, too. The only trouble I've had here is that some items aren't where they are marked to be, but with an inventory like theirs I don't fault them much for that. For the most part I can find what I need in stock and where the online guide says it is.

Bought my oven/stove here and they Didn't even send all the correct appliances with it. No pilots ?!! On a Samsung ?! You got to be KIDDING ME????I came back to the store to get it back and this lady named ROBIN who was in the appliance area didn't help any of the 4 customers including myself at the moment. Only munching on her pretzels. I wonder if that's her break time now to ignore all the browsing customers in that section. By the way stay away from that robin employee, you'll never get help!!!!!

I purchased cabinets from Home Depot being told, absolutely no partical board and no plastic. Upon receiving them,I noticed they were stock cabinets and plastic and partical board were used on the cabinets. I was told to he cabinets would be completely put together but one cabinet was a build yourself cabinet. These cabinets looked like the stock cabinets. When I asked to return them, they sent the manufacturer rep of American Woodmark along with a Home Depot rep to look over the cabinets. The rep said on piece of partical board and they put plastic in the cabinets to allow for adjusting...FALSE...They use partical board and plastic because it's cheap. Then I inform the store manager, Dionne, that I was mislead. She said I'd have to pay a restocking fee of 15% because I signed paperwork stating it's a final sale. I would not have an issue if the cabinets came the way they said they would. I told her again, I was mislead. She wouldn't budge. It's the old bait and switch. I have tried contacting the district manager and according to the manger he had her call me. Obviously, I want to speak to him because I am getting no where with her. This isn't over...if I have to take it to small claims court I will. I like others will not be shopping Home Depot anymore...I'll stick with LOWES.

Greeter on Sunday 2/10/19 at 1pm (older white guy) would just watch people walk in the store. No smile, no 'welcome to home depot', no nothing. Waste of payroll if you ask me.

I get to write this review very HONESTLY. I've been here maybe about 30 plus times within the last few months. Every single time I've never been more disappointed. There is never someone to help you, ever. Thank GOODNESS for Lowes and that they're in Santa Maria. They're always someone to help you there. Always! I am almost finished building my customized house here in Nipomo. We don't have a general contractor. My husband and I are hiring our subs ourselves which means lots of trips back and forth! I've probably spent over $60,000 to Lowes when Home Depot could have gotten those sales. Unfortunately the staff here is obviously understaffed and there is no team work here. Maybe because I am women I get overlooked? There are SO many stories I would love to share about my experiences here but I don't want the employees to get into trouble. I have dates, times and names. It's not their fault, it's how Home Depot is running this place. It's VERY sad and their staff admits no one cares here. It's so sad, not a great morale, not welcoming, not caring in the world for customer service or their business. I suggest don't waste your time.

Went yesterday 9/11/18.....around 130pm got 8 blinds needed them cut worker was busy said she would call when done...nvr called went in this morning 9am she didnt even start any....so had to wait another hr for them but I dont blame her sunshine was helpful....she was alone with no help.....its homedepots fault they have so many employees walking around why not put 2 people in flooring section or other section that are busy....common sense instead havin others sit on there a** on phone in other sections....Who ever manger is needs figure s*** out and get together this is not 1st incident either always something there
