Pacific Eye - Santa Maria Office is a highly regarded eye care practice serving Santa Barbara County. The practice is staffed by expert ophthalmologists and optometrists who provide a wide range of services, including comprehensive and routine eye exams, as well as specialized eye care for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, retina problems, dry eyes, and diabetic eye care. Patients consistently praise the friendly and courteous staff, minimal wait times, and the expertise of the doctors, particularly Dr. Amir and Dr. McRee. Dr. McRee is an excellent ophthalmologist. Patients who have had cataract surgery and multifocal lens implants with him report no longer needing reading glasses and vastly improved distance vision. The office staff and surgical team are also excellent, professional, and friendly. Dr. McRee has a wonderful bedside manner and takes the time to explain everything to patients, ensuring they are not nervous about the surgery. Patients have also praised the care they received from Dr. Ahmad and the anesthesiologist, with one patient describing the entire staff as "awesome" and the information provided as "on point." Another patient had an excellent experience with Dr. Merrill, who took the time to answer all of their questions during their cataract surgery.
