Went to property and found a rodent problem. Did not notify owner until harangued. No same day service like Orkin. Never received report on Sunday as promised. Received ambiguous quit with poor detail that was twice what Orkin quoted. Tried to schedule exterminator on Monday but they were going to send another inspector/report writer. Terminix seems to think their mission is to write reports and gauge their customer rather than kill pests. Never, ever, again will I use them.Service: Rodent extermination

Used for quarterly service and the technician texted us to remind us of upcoming service. My husband called to let him know there was a small hole that needed repair which was identified by an electrician doing a repair. The technician said he would handle it but when he showed up stated he could look at it but another technician would need to come out for this repair. So we would need two appointments but why not tell us that or, even better, send that technician to do both the repair and the regular maintenance. We talked to the manager who then states we would be charged for the repair. No problem but shouldn't the technician tell us that when we spoke to him. Then he checks the attic and tells us there were traps but they hadn't been set so he set them. Fast forward a week when we cancel with this company after paying for the service and hire another company. This new amazing and thorough technician from another company stated the traps were not set and after hearing our story, didn't charge for this first inspection and estimate. I highly recommend calling any other company for service. This place does not seem to be doing the job at all.

BUYER BEWARE termites LOVE that Terminix let's them live and chow down on your place.We just purchased a home that terminix claimed they had maintained for the past 20 years. Within 12 hours of purchasing the home we've found termite dropping inEVERY room in the house. Some damage so was bad, that a 2x4 that fell over once the drywall was removed and there was only a paper thin and fell to the ground. The company is claiming we, as the buyers, didn't see the damage, so how should THEY have known, maybe because we aren't "Qualified termite inspector!" I would NEVER RECOMMEND or do business with this company.

AWFUL. They fraudulently opted me into a contract and charged me TWICE of the same service and wrote in their notes that I received two services when I did not. Then they proceeded to send this bill that I didn't even know about to a debt collector and this is affecting my credit score. Terrible experience with management and in general super rude and unhelpful customer service. Not to mention, the people taking your call do not understand the proper preparation for the type of service you are receiving so be careful. Woman on the phone told us to move everything off the ground but then we were later told this was not necessary after we spent hours doing this! Would not recommend. They do not care about their customers and refuse to take complaints seriously. I would go with Orkin or a smaller company. DO NOT USE THIS TERMINIX! TERRIBLE!

This is probably the most unethical business I have come across since moving to the central coast. I had ants & contacted them to come to my house once. Little did I know, without them informing me, they automatically enrolled me in a program that schedules future appointments every few months & charges you which I did not sign up for or request. Then, when a technician contacted me a few months later to inform me he'd be over in a few hours for an appointment I never scheduled for a regularly occurring service I never signed up for, I tried to cancel it all & they informed me I would receive a cancelation fee for something I never even signed up for!!!! Jesus, how unethical can a business get??!! I will be filing official complaints with both the state attorney general & better business bureau.

Terminix reminds me of annual inspections. The inspectors have been knowledgeable and thorough. In the past when I had termite problems they were quick to address the issue and resolve it. The do occasionally send ads about other pest services available but have never been pushy (or even mentioned) about me getting them during a termite inspection.

The service techs from Terminix, Santa Maria, have all been great. We just signed up for pest control and Michael Rose did a thorough initial service, clearing out all the spider webs inside & outside (under the eaves of the entire house). He applied the sage pesticide throughout the house, windows, sliding glass doors, etc. carefully and outside the house as well. Thumbs up on this company!
