“Was about to jump into my broccoli field and noticed that my tires was losing air rapidly. I ran over to Calderon. They took me right in, serviced my tire. Found nothing wrong with the tire. They told me the tire is fine and all is good. Long story short...Took me right away, worked for an hour, found nothing wrong, got me back on the road with same tire and didn't charge me a penny. “Pep Boys has a sweetheart deal with Lyft. They do vehicle inspections that take 25 seconds for $20. In exchange for funneling potential driver applicants to Pep Boys, lift demands that Pep Boys refuse to fill out the same form for other rideshare programs, such as Uber, and others. The form is practically identical and requires no other work, other than checking boxes, and filling in a few numbers. The people at Pep Boys are great, friendly, professional, and I’m sure have little to nothing to do with the sweetheart deal between Pep Boys and Lyft. It’s unfortunate that these kinds of deals taint the reputation of both businesses. This is why I cannot give a five star rating to Pep Boys. This, and also they really need to change the mustache on Manny. Unless they put a top hat on him, a mascot with that mustache Evokes someone quite unpleasant.”

When I called Figueroa tire, the gentleman who answered was very helpful he quoted me a great price that I could actually afford to pay today. They got me right in the service was quick and efficient . The tires that they put on my car are really solid tires. I was surprised that they were this good.. The place is clean. “I have been following Costco every town where I have time to shop. This one came up in the mid trip between greater Los Angeles to the San Francisco. I love the fact that it has gasoline pumps on site, it also has its unique specialty. Believe it or not Costco caters the local population & ethnicities. One time I found in this place a Japanese green tea below regular price elsewhere! This time I found Calrose rice. Costco limits this rice to where it deems more rice consumed area. Other brands of rice will be substituted for this brand based on what ethnicity lives in the area. I like the challenge to discover what each Costco will provide to its local population.So, next time if you happen to be in a Costco, try to play the game of discovery to find the exotic foods & unique items to specific geography while enjoying your saving that Costco will provide you on your bulk-shopping. Cha-ching, there goes your money out of your wallet!”

“There is no doubt that having your automobile is expensive to maintain. It's just the way it is. I needed to replace my brakes and my sister recommended Pep Boys. I made an appointment and was helped immediately after arrival. A very pleasant young man took my information and said they would look it over and let me know what is needed. I was contacted by Tom and he explained everything and in a way I could understand. He was very helpful and pleasant. I okayed the service and two hours later my car was ready. He worked very hard to get me a affordable price and I was very thankful. Like I said auto service is expensive but necessary. Tom and PepBoys came through for me and I highly recommend them. “Amazing service from J's. I recently had part of my exhaust fall off right outside their shop. I went in and spoke with a few employees who let me borrow a floor jack and I was able to re bolt my exhaust on the side of the road. They did not charge me and were nothing but helpful.
